There is no shortage of heresies these days.
If you want to adopt some blasphemous, perverted, fun house mirror reflection of Christianity, you will find a veritable buffet of options. You can sift through all the variants and build your own little pet version of the Faith. It’s Ice Cream Social Christianity: make your own sundae! (Or Sunday, as it were.)
And, of all the heretical choices, probably the most common — and possibly the most damaging — is what I’ve come to call the Nice Doctrine.
The propagators of the Nice Doctrine can be seen and heard from anytime any Christian takes any bold stance on any cultural issue, or uses harsh language of any kind, or condemns any sinful act, or fights against evil with any force or conviction at all. As soon as he or she stands and says ‘This is wrong, and I will not compromise,’ the heretics swoop in with their trusty mantras.
They insist that Jesus was a nice man, and that He never would have done anything to upset people. They say that He came down from Heaven to preach tolerance and acceptance, and He wouldn’t have used words that might lead to hurt feelings. They confidently sermonize about a meek and mild Messiah who was born into this Earthly realm on a mission to spark a constructive dialogue.

People who haven’t read the Bible are pretty sure that Jesus was a wimp.
Jesus acknowledges he did not have political power during his first coming
Luke 19:27 But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and kill them in my presence.
Jesus will come back as King of mankind and destroy his enemies. He did not have political power of any kind, besides the support of the poor and oppressed in his first coming

The birds will eat the flesh of all those who oppose Him (v. 17-18). He has no compassion upon His enemies, whom He will conquer completely and consign to a “fiery lake of burning sulfur” (v. 20).

1 Corinthians 15:24 [Jesus] will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power.
15:25 For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet.
I’m only saying that the reason Jesus didn’t have political power was because He didn’t want it; it would not have served His purpose as Redeemer.

Yes! God played satan, pilate, and the pharisees to fulfil His purpose.
Jesus called people vipers, chased people out of a temple with a whip, and called out people for their hypocrisy. Jesus was out to do His Father’s will, not comfort people in their sins. He loves us so much that He doesn’t want us to be trapped in sin, so there’s no way He would tell people to accept sin.

He had a plan from before the beginning, and what you see as tolerance was the fulfillment of a plan. He could have jumped from the temple roof too, and wiped out everyone that opposed Him, but that would have interfered with the plan. And the plan? That was to be the sacrifice offered for you and me to be saved.
Next time we see Jesus, He will be destroying those that oppose Him, and it will be violent.
Jesus too tolerant? Not at all. He is perfect and tolerates no evil. There is no “COEXIST” Jesus.
Tolerance: The last and only virtue of the completely immoral society.

What makes you think he didn't? Where do you think they are now?
As for what Jesus has done with them ever since, He has the authority to do as He judges.
Jesus was tolerant of MOST people, but not all ideas.
Jesus couldn’t have destroyed the Pharisees because he was fully human. Which was why He ended up on the Cross.
But He could have done it because he was fully God. Which was why He ended up on the Cross.
