How much do I love this video? Let me count the ways...
1. She's a mom who takes stereotypes and kicks 'em to the curb.
2. The story she tells is R-E-A-L, REAL. No apologies. She's serving up realness, people.
3. "I'm a conservative Southern Baptist from Alabama." 'Nuff said.
4. I just really love it.

Well, point duly noted, and I apologize if you watched something you didnt want to. If I post from an antichristian source, I try to put that in parantheses (and use scare quotes), but I was unfamiliar with Upworthy and thought others would be, too. So I tried (pro-transgender), but with the length of the title, the FR program wouldnt accept it. It also just happened to be that the blog post or whatever introducing the video doesnt say much about it, and I also have never or just rarely posted video here (I believe I posted one Christian testimony). In the future if I do post another video and it should be antichristian, Ill make sure to look for a source where the content is talked about, re-title it, or something if the source or viewpoint cant be clearly posted in the title. No apology is necessary, and my harsh response was directed toward the subject matter, not toward you. I was a bit confused by the title, but when I saw the site "upworthy" I assumed it was something from a Christian perspective. It didn't take long to figure out otherwise, so it wasn't a big deal. It was an honest misunderstanding, and if all you ever do is make me waste 30 seconds, then we can probably still be friends. }8^D
Take care....

You are exactly the correct person to draw attention to these matters.
It’s a horrifying situation when well meaning adults foster a sinful and unnatural environment that encourages children and teens to go down this path.
A path you obviously know and have rejected.
As Christians, we can’t confuse compassion and sin. We all have inborn inclinations that are not good. All of us. An inclination toward sexual sin is common, not rare. That some inclinations involve same-sex attractions should make no difference to us. This is not more sinful or misguided than adulterous behaviors or common lewd behaviors. It’s all wrong. We all have to fight against these inclinations.
Thanks for your post.

I watched the video and feel pity for the child. The mother, who describes herself as conservative, is obviously also confused. It's no wonder she isn't able to deal with her child's confusion.
