As many might sadly know the militant Satanists (most of whom are actually Atheist) but who nevertheless literally invoke Satan the prince of evil, are hosting a Black Mass on Oklahoma City's Civic center. There is word that a stolen consecrated host will be used at this event. The event will take place on September 21, 2014. The event is hosted by Dakhma of Angra Mainyu. Most of us remember not too long ago the Satanic Black Mass which was to be held on Harvard University. It is through the prayers, actions and zeal of Catholic and Christian faithful which prevented the Black Mass from taking place.
What is a Black Mass?
Modern Satanism’s founder, Anton Lavey, author of the Satanic Bible, himself stated, "A Black Mass is essentially a parody on the religious service of the Roman Catholic Church, but can be loosely applied to a satire on any religious ceremony.” Its main objective was the profanation of the Eucharist. There are various other similarities to the Black Mass which helps to show just how similar yet perverse the Mass is set up in order to act as a mockery of Catholicism.
The French sections that LaVey published were quotations from Huysmans’s La Bas. The Latin of Melech and LaVey is based on the Roman Catholic Latin Missal, reworded so as to give it a Satanic meaning (e.g. the Roman Mass starts “In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti, introibo ad altare Dei”, while LaVey’s version, printed in the Satanic rituals, starts “In nomine magni dei nostri Satanas, introibo ad altare Domini Inferi”). There are a small amount of copyist and grammatical errors. For example, “dignum” from the Mass, is once incorrectly spelled “clignum”, in the printed Satanic rituals. Another example, also appearing once, is “laefificat” instead of “laetificat”. One of the more obvious grammatical errors is “ego vos benedictio”, “I bless you”, which should have been “ego vos benedico”. Another grammatical peculiarity, is that throughout his version of the Mass, LaVey does not decline the name Satanas, as is typically done in Latin if the endings are used, but uses only the one form of the word regardless of the case. Melech uses Satanus. “Satanas” as a name for Satan appears in some examples of Latin texts popularly associated with Satanism and witchcraft, such as the middle age pact with the devil supposedly written by Urbain Grandier. Both Black Masses end with the Latin expression “Ave Satanas!” – “Welcome, Satan!” (Expressing the opposite sentiments of the similar statement made by Jesus to Satan in the Latin Vulgate Bible (Latin Vulgate, Matthew 4:10), “Vade, Satanas!” – “Go away, Satan!”).
A Call to Action
The Bishop of the Diocese of Tulsa, His Reverence Bishop Slattery has issued a letter to the Catholic Faithful of his diocese to abstain from meat from August 6th until the day of the Assumption. These days are to also include constant prayer and penance. This is to combat this diabolical Mass from taking place.
Here is the Letter which Bishop Slattery issued:
My Dear People: As has been widely reported, a Satanic Black Mass has been scheduled for September 21 in Oklahoma City’s Civic Center. As a part of Satanic worship, a Black Mass attempts to invert the action and meaning of the Eucharist in order to mock Christ’s sacrifice and worship Satan through an orgiastic ritual of pain and perversion. It blasphemes everything which we hold as sacred and redemptive; and the spiritual dangers it poses ought not to be dismissed. Since the Civic Center has not responded positively to the pleas of the Archbishop of Oklahoma City not to host this event in a tax-payer supported public venue, I am asking the faithful Catholics in the Diocese of Tulsa to fight this blasphemy through prayer and fasting:
Please keep the nine days prior to the Feast of the Assumption as an extraordinary period of prayer and penance. I am asking every Catholic to abstain from all meat and meat products from August 6 through the 14th. I am also asking that you consecrate your hunger with a daily recitation of a decade of the rosary and the familiar Prayer to Saint Michael. Printed copies of these prayers are available in the bulletin and at the entrances of the church. Be strong and encourage your friends to also be strong. I invite all faithful Catholics throughout the United States and throughout the world to join in this abstinence from meat, as well as constant prayers to stop the Black Mass from taking place.
I also recommend that people write to the officials and representatives of Oklahoma City to express your disapproval and anger towards such event. This is overall what put pressure in Harvard to cancel the event.
I would also take this opportunity to ask and plead before bishops to stop Communion in the hand. I say this with utmost love for the reverence and safety of the Blessed Sacrament. This is the second major Black Mass that is being celebrated in the same year. Both these events included a stolen and consecrated host.
I pray that bishops may for the reverence due to the Most Holy Sacrament do all that they possibly can to stop Communion in the hand. It has been shown by studies, as well as from personal experience that Communion in the hand has often made it easy for the Eucharist to be desecrated and stolen for that matter. I speak these words out of true charity for the sake of Christ in the Eucharist.
Send some Catholic priests to bless the grounds beforehand . The Satanists will love that...: )

Sounds quite oxymoronic. What does it say exactly? “Thou shalt commit murder, adultery, etc.” Or does it come off as a bitter screed against God?
Just do what took place at Havard, a procession of the Blessed Sacrament, problem solved.
Actually the Satanic Bible says “Do what you want.” It doesn’t openly advocate lawlessness, but something more insidious. The whole “Do what you want” ethic is what is so damaging to morals in this country.
