Father God, we acknowledge today that Your wisdom is supreme. We decide not to run facts through our own understanding, but look to You alone for Your perfect will for our personal lives and for our Nation. During the Civil War, President Lincoln acknowledged that both sides were seeking Your favor, but ultimately it was Your perfect will that prevailed. Thank You for Your perfect understanding and wisdom. We ask for increasing numbers of leaders who understand how to seek Your face and how to submit themselves to Your will and not their own. We pray for people who are meek before You so they can receive a lions boldness to carry out Your assignment for them. May the original intent of our founders to establish a Christian Nation be fulfilled. Hallelujah!
Our hearts are ever tender and longing towards the members of our Armed Forces. Father God, we are so very grateful for each and every one that You have called. We dont feel that we are praying out of line when we ask for each ones protection and anointing from You to be a success. Give courage to family members as they await those in harms way. Let this time of separation be a time of clinging to Your faithfulness.
How we love You and appreciate this audience before the throne of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Your wonder brings us to our knees. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The Final Picture
What started as an empty 11-acre field in Belfast, Northern Ireland, ended up as the largest land portrait in the British Isles. Wish, by artist Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada, is made from 30,000 wooden pegs, 2,000 tons of soil, 2,000 tons of sand, and miscellaneous items such as grass, stones, and string.
At the beginning, only the artist knew what the final artwork was going to look like. He hired workers and recruited volunteers to haul materials and move them into place. As they worked, they saw little indication that something amazing was about to emerge. But it did. From the ground, it doesnt look like much. But from above, viewers see a huge portraitthe smiling face of a little girl.
God is doing something on a grander scale in the world. Hes the artist who sees the final picture. Were His fellow workers (1 Cor. 3:9) who are helping to make it a reality. Through the prophet Isaiah, God reminded His people that it is He who sits above the circle of the earth and stretches out the heavens like a curtain (Isa. 40:22). We cant see the final picture, but we continue on in faith, knowing that were part of an amazing work of artone that is being created on earth but will be best seen from heaven.
While sometimes I think I can see the big picture,
Lord, my heart knows it sees so little. Im
thankful that You are working out Your beautiful
will in this world, and I can trust You.
God is using us to help create a masterpiece.

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE
"Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod" William Billings Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia (Click)
IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered his prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His Manifold Blessings upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.
AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and gather them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your Loving Embrace, that You cause Your Countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.
