The Pope doesn’t speak out on this because he knows that if he did the MSM would stop putting out his global warming pronouncements.

"...if he did the MSM would stop putting out his global warming pronouncements."

That strikes me as kinda dubious. The MSM would never stop putting out his global warming announcements.

Well, perhaps I’m wrong. Perhaps the Pope isn’t talking about the industrial-scale harvesting of the organs of dead children - and perhaps of living children - for sale to whomever wishes to pony up enough do-re-me because the story is just too boring for His Eminence to comment on.

Maybe they ought to hunt for another penumbra.

You are seemingly manifesting an insight into the interior life of Jorge Bergoglio which you cannot, in fact, possess.

This cynicism and rash judgment (judgment with no evidence, with insufficient evidence, or against evidence) is not nourishing fr anyone, including you. Please desist.

POpe Francis has in fact assailed abortikon as an ugly manifestation of the "throw-away culture" in him encyclical Laudato Si' and defended the right of every unborn child to live. He also has a good record of defending other Moral Truths related to the Sanctity of Life, Natural Sexual Complementarity (Man and Woman), and Natural Marriage over the past 6 months or so.

What, you haven't seen these in the mainstream media, either?

Ever wonder why?

Actions speak louder than words. It would be unreasonable to rely solely on his statements as proof of his orthodoxy while completely ignoring his actions.

His ongoing collusion with pro-aborts and population controllers such as Jeffrey Sachs, Ban Ki Moon, Hans ("Gaia Principle") Schellnhuber, Margaret Archer, Barack Obama, Moonbeam Brown, Bill de Blasio, Marty Walsh, etc., his scandalous appointments to influential roles those who flout and even work to pervert the Church's teachings on sexuality [e.g. Fr. Pablo d'Ors (self-styled "erotic buddhist"), Fr. Timothy Radcliffe, Monsignor Ricca, etc.] and his promotion of children's stories which advertise homosexuality, transexuality and "new family forms" (http://eponymousflower.blogspot.com/2015/07/fight-against-human-trafficking-fight.html) through his Foundation Scholas Occurrentes provide objective evidence in regard to his priorities.

And please note that we can (completely without rashness) draw objective conclusions regarding the inconsistency of his actions vis-à-vis Catholic teaching, and their destructiveness as well, with ZERO reference to his interior motives (which we of course leave to God's judgement).

I'm in agreement with you on all that, BlatherNaut.

All I'm asking is, in your own words, that we "... draw objective conclusions regarding the inconsistency of his actions vis-à-vis Catholic teaching, and their destructiveness as well, with ZERO reference to his interior motives (which we of course leave to God's judgement)"

“...with ZERO reference to his interior motives (which we of course leave to God’s judgement)”.

This has been a major problem with me (as a Catholic) on this forum. It amazes me how people can become mind readers and judge-and-jury about what they presume to know, perceive -—or conjure up-—about the hearts and minds of others.

“Interior motives” most certainly pertain to the heart and mind—faith and reason-—(or in secular vernacular, the cognitive and the affective).

The heart and mind of a person are known to God alone, as written so well by our Emeritus Pope Benedict in “Jesus of Nazareth”:

“God addresses every individual by a name that no one else knows, as Scripture tells us (cf. Rev. 2:17). God’s love for each individual is totally personal and includes the mystery of a uniqueness that cannot be divulged to other human beings.”

Glad you said that.

I am always banging on about the sins of rash judgment, detraction and calumny.

There are people hereabouts who think these are sports, not sins.
