The core of Catholicism is Jesus, the only begotten Son of the Father, Christ and Savior.

God, because none will ever be forthcoming.

There are still Catholics who will continue to tell you this, tell you that the pope is Christ’s vicar on earth, and then try to excuse or just downright bad mouth the pope.

The disconnect is staggering and yet somehow it can be rationalized in the minds of devoted Catholics as if the pope doesn’t matter in Catholicism as *the church* can exist without the clergy or laity.

The people make up the church. The them away and there is no church.

One evil man does not destroy the one true church. One evil man does not negate the founding by Jesus Christ.

It's more than just *one evil man.*

Catholic church history is replete with men just like him in morals and faith.

And it goes from the top down to the laity who support obama and vote liberal.

Anyone who said you were “damned to hell” is wrong.

Your catechism states that very thing along with many of your previous popes.

It's likely you've seen what I've posted before in quotes from them. Would you like to see them again?

I can easily put them up yet again.

He compared the Apostles to Mohammad’s warriors and Jesus to Mohammad. That’s pretty evil.

Our Cross is not empty, nor should it be. It is everything when he is seen stretched out, open armed, upon it. It is our faith. Lord have mercy.

If your cross is not empty, they you are lost, still dead in your sins and there is no redemption.

1 Corinthians 15:12-19 Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.

For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

You are misinformed if you believe salvation is first and last found anywhere but He on the Cross.

The bare cross is quite barren of Salvation, without Him.

A discussion of your resurrection without Him first on the Cross is secondary without that Work.

There are no pleurals in Church, but you are so correct that corruption among any band of men is hardly foreign. Sacred scriptures are full of betrayals in both the Old and the New Testament, against the people of God, Israel, against the Apostles, against their teachings of the Church they shepherded.

Salvation is found THROUGH the cross, not Jesus forever dead hanging on the cross.

Jesus DIED. He rose from the dead.

The cross is empty because His work is FINISHED. He’s not still dead hanging on the cross forever.

He’s risen, glorified, and seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven now.

If your Jesus is still hanging on the cross, dead, then He was not buried, He is not risen, and He did not conquer death.

Your argument is with the Scripture that you claim your church wrote. And I think that Saint Paul is a better theologian than any lay Catholic.

He compared the Apostles to Mohammad’s warriors and Jesus to Mohammad. That’s pretty evil.

I think it's worse. He seems to be saying that the inspirational spirit of conquest in the apostles going out to conquer the world (by telling the good news) is the same as the Muzzies going out to conquer the world (by raping, enslaving, and murdering people), and that the inspired word of Jesus to the apostles to do this is the same spirit as present Mad Mo's command to his followers. This is blasphemy, in my humble opinion.

According to II Corinthians 5, we “persuade” men—and do so with an eye toward judgment, so that as many as possible will be accepted by God into the Kingdom. ‘Persuasion’ isn’t exactly the equivalent of ‘Submit or die,’ is it?

‘10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.’

No one can be damned who does what he is convinced is right.

Whoa, there! That's sounds like Pope Francis talking to his atheist friend.

Lucifer and Hitler both convinced themselves and millions of others that they were "right".

The teaching of the Catholic Church is precisely what I said. Pope Francis has nothing to do with it.

I don’t buy your gratuitous assertion that Hitler thought he was doing right.

Nevertheless, if Hitler went through his life without ever doing anything he was sincerely convinced was gravely evil, he cannot be damned.

BTW: Lucifer is an angel. Angels don’t go through any process of “convincing,” of themselves or other angels. Angels have no psychological processes akin to our. What an angel chooses, he chooses with a glaring, clear vision of the truth, and with a totality of commitment of the will, that a human cannot begin to imagine.

St. Paul said that he would always preach Christ, and Him crucified.

When Paul wrote those words, Jesus had been taken down from the cross, buried, and had risen again.

Yet Paul said he would ALWAYS preach Christ crucified.

When Catholics put up an image of Christ crucified, they are, LIKE PAUL, preaching Christ crucified.

They are not morons, and therefore they don’t believe the moronic notion that Christ IS STILL ON THE CROSS.

So it appears you deny the Catholic dogma of extra Ecclesiam nulla salus?

Islamist are doing what they think is “right”. Yet you claim God can’t condemn them if they are only doing what they think is “right”?

What was the purpose of the Great Commission?

Are you one of the ones who suspect Hell could be empty?
