Boys as young as five should be able to wear tiaras at school without criticism, teachers in Church of England schools are to be told.
Male pupils should also be free to dress up in a tutu or high heels without attracting any comment or observation, according to anti-bullying rules sent out by the Church yesterday.
The instructions for the CofEs 4,700 schools said they should not require children to wear uniforms that create difficulty for trans pupils.
This appears to give official backing to schools that ban skirts to avoid discrimination against transgender children.
Schools are also told they cannot use the Christian faith or Bible teachings to justify behaviour that is considered to amount to bullying for example, identifying a transgender pupil by a sex other than the one they have chosen. The advice contains instructions on how to report bullying, including sample forms on which teachers are encouraged to name the alleged bully and their target, and use tick boxes to describe what happened.
Examples include name-calling, social media trolling, or insulting gestures.

In other words the “Church” is no longer a church.
Those people should be horsewhipped.
Nothing like adding to the “confusion” of “WHO AM I?”Where will this incredible stupidity end?
One of N reasons (where N is a large number) that C of E pews are empty.
Oh well, that’s one less obstacle for the Muzzies.
United Kingdomstan. Coming soon to your villiage.
So the race is on. Which church in Europe will stupidly self-destruct first, the Church of England, or the Roman Catholic Church?
It’s going to be interesting to see how England tries to sell this nonsense to Muslims when England becomes an Islamic state.
Church of England?
They could just chop off the bully’s head.
It worked for Henry VIII.
My experience is that the UK is FAR less religious that this country. But we are heading that way. Without the worry/respect of a higher power, people often have no conscience and embrace the meme ‘if it feels good, do it’. Ayers and Obama, accomplishing what the crazies of the 60’s couldn’t.
The Church of England seems to have run completely off the rails, as if it is run totally by a bunch of pedophiles.
Real girls do not even wear such clothes to school. What type of idiot parent would let a boy dress up like a ballerina for school?????
So, in liberal fantasy land, you choose your gender, but you are born gay/lesbian/bi? That means you cannot change “gay/lesbian/bi”. Then, logically, you CANNOT be born transsexual, you choose to be transsexual. So if you are a gay man who transitions to woman, you remain gay, although you choose to lop your dangling part off.
Also, if you are born “gay/lesbian/bi”, then you can never change “gay/lesbian/bi”. So “gender fluid” goes out the window.
Maybe you can be born “gender fluid”. But “gender fluid” means you can change, while “born” means you cannot.
Fantasy land and contradicting reality is very confusing.
“....... identifying a transgender pupil by a sex other than the one they have chosen.”....
So what are they going to do when a kid thinks he/she is a snake, skunk, dog, goldfish, etc. Sounds about as stupid as letting them decide if they are/want to be a child of the opposite sex than what they were born as. Good grief, what a mad, mad world we live in. Pure insanity!
It seems that many of the comments here are an overreaction to the current political climate.
A child should be allowed to wear whatever they want. That really isn’t that big of a problem. At the same time, nobody should be required to play into their disillusions of being a different gender than they really are.
If a child wants to wear a policeman uniform to school, a school official should not prevent them from doing so. They should also not be forced to pretend that the child is an actual officer of the law.
If my son wanted to wear a dress to school, I would not let him but I don’t see where the school should be involved in making sure the student’s clothes meet a minimum macho level.
Should little boys be prevented from wearing “Frozen” shirts?
How about “Dora the Explorer”?
That's the point I was going to make - even little girls shouldn't be wearing that get-up to school.
I'm female and as a child often pretended to be male cowboy characters. Westerns were all over tv back then and women in the shows were essentially just part of the set. But I always knew I was a girl pretending to be a boy. And I never even thought of wearing cowboy get-up to school.
These are the real perverts. They run the schools.
And to think, at one time they ruled the entire world...
