Honestly, I think it’s ALWAYS a good thing when people reveal who they really are, what they truly believe ... beats saying one thing and doing another, and we know who to avoid.
The warnings of GOD that evil times, evil people are indeed coming. He warns us in advance so that when the time comes, we can't say, but, but, but, you didn't warn us of all this bad stuff; if I had known I would get smacked for being a Christian, I wouldn't have joined!!
NO, GOD warns us and tells us that we will have fools out there trying to take our money, misleading us down the wrong road, yet it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to heed His warnings and to recognize all these crooks and false teachers!!! BUT, don't worry about them, for they WILL APPEAR before Judgment, administered by the Creator GOD of Heaven and Earth!! HE will take care of all these people. They lie, cheat, and yes, steal from their flock. He will judge, He will decide their fate, He will take all punishment for these fools. I don't worry about their lies. I ignore them as I KNOW He will take care of it.

I think you have the wrong impression of Baptists. You may be referring to Primitive Baptists - although I’m no scholar on them either?
Most Baptist Churches I’ve been to preach the Gospel Truth with Love. I have seen a stark falling towards liberalism and ecumenism in Baptist Churches lately. Russell Moore is a prime example with his marxist ideology.
I guess what I’m trying to say, is that what might be called “Baptist” is not necessarily Baptist.
Always be wary of preachers with outrageous comments. If they cannot back it up with true Scripture - ignore them!

The guy with the doctorate, writing complete fiction about Bible prophecy, is still revered at the shell of an entity of the Christian church organization that I worked at.

Before he went to be with the Lord, Dave Hunt lamented that very few in the Church actually wanted to understand Bible Prophecy. They were too busy read “The Shack”, etc.
I can attest that his assessment was pretty much spot-on.
On the other end of the spectrum, I watched Irvin Baxter’s show Friday night (after DVR’ing it). He thinks the 7th Trumpet is about to blow because he thinks the first 6 have.
They have not. I knew he was screwed up on Revelation (he gets the events of the Tribulation wrong though he at least understands the 7 years will happen with the Second Coming at the end). And he understands Rome and the New World Order push (two issues there I mean).
I believe the world is on its way. I don’t see any turn around coming; in fact, the Democrat media is doing everything (along with Hollywood) and I mean everything to pervert and corrupt the current generation, beyond regeneration). A fortunate few may escape their grip but the deception is rampant.
Talking to a guy a few years ago (Barack was still in office) he said something about being ready for the next 10 years. I was about to say something when he said “I don’t think this country has 10 years”. I told him - “I was about to say that”.

There are my favorites like good ole Benny “the hen” Hinn, and that wonderful Joyce “the multi- millionaire” Meyer who has her own private compound with her four massive houses housing her & her husband, three adult children and families, their Olympic pool house with Olympic sized pool, of course her small cars, these little Mercedes model V-hickles!!! AND THAT private Lier/Leir (whichever it is spelled) Jet!!! Yup, the TV evangelists business is booming for the criminals using my LORD’s name to enrich themselves. I think all we believers will see the Great White Throne judgment of the lost and I think we shall see these people judged by our LORD.
Personally, I avoid any exercise that has a spiritual aspect to it. Bike riding, calisthenics, swimming, walking, running, pumping iron - not aware that any of these have a spiritual aspect to them. Martial arts? Not sure about that, but I believe there is a spiritual aspect to that also.
Have you looked into the kundalini spirit associated with yoga?
I know that kundalini yoga is really intense. As opposed to Hatha yoga.
