Why More Muslims Are Turning To Jesus
Newsweek ^ | 6/28/19 | David Garrison

In the 8th century, the Great Imam, Abu Hanifa (699-767), coined the term "House of Islam" (Dar al-Islam) as those places where Muslims enjoyed peace and security under the rule of an Islamic government. The rest of the world Hanifa designated Dar al-Harb or "the House of War."

Hanifa's triumphalist worldview had been earned by Islamic armies that had already defeated both the Byzantine and Persian superpowers in their first century of existence. In Hanifa's own lifetime, these Prophet-inspired warriors rolled unabated across Buddhist Central Asia and South Asian Hindustan. By the time of Abu Hanifa's writing, Islamic kingdoms stretched from the borders of France to the Indonesian archipelago.

Islam's expansion continues to the present. As the fastest-growing major religion in the world today, Islam is on track to challenge Christianity as the world's largest religion by 2050.

My wife and I have spent some 30 years as evangelical missionaries engaging the Muslim world, living among Muslims in the Middle East and South Asia. God has given us a love for Muslims, and we have found them to be overwhelmingly hospitable, reasonable, peace-loving people—yet staunchly opposed to the Christian gospel. A major reason for this was found in the roots of Islam...

Maybe they prefer a religion where God sends his only begotten son to save you from your sins to an Allah who demands that you die to build his evil empire?

A good bit is left out of this story. Go back and see how Hanifa died (tortured to death in 767). It’s a curious end and how he got on someone’s ‘bad-boy’ list.

Setting aside the moslem issue for the moment the sweep and conquest of Islam in its first century of existence is truly astonishing. How does one go from nothing, create a new "religion," enlist so many converts, and go on the warpath against the biggest, strongest and best equipped armies in the world and WIN everywhere all in less than one hundred years? That is incredible. How did they manage to do that? Just amassing the required wealth to undertake that is amazing.

The very least Francis could be doing is raising theological questions on the assertions made in the Islamic codex (which is their code of observance and behavior) known as Sharia, Beginning with this question
http://www.theusmat.com/islamandfreewill.htm
Parties with suppressors of the faith

Francis continuing destructive confusing pontificating on temporal worldly social behavior, which has nothing to do with and avoids articles of faith and has rebuked or restrained contemplative religious orders to favor such behavior . But refuses to question and expound on the profound differences with the claims made by Islam and its followers Instead of reaching out to and defending what Judeo/Christian beliefs are. Challenging the claims that Islamist make they are following God’s command using deceit and deception when ruthlessly murdering and torturing non believers and destroy their edifice .simply because of its assertion of being monotheistic. Then winds up making a point of honoring it and placing it on an equal level because of that claim. Is leading to misguided conversions which is the result of my so called Pope playing games with this so called mono theistic cult and a serious fracture within Christianity and The Roman Rite .

A friend of ours who was doing missionary work in a muslim country that shall remain unnamed, said the biggest factor in turning muslims against islam is sharia law.

The ordinary man on the street HATES sharia law and its end result is that it actually drives muslims from islam.

Consider this line from the article: “While many religions rejected the doctrine of Jesus as Messiah or the concept of the Trinity, Islam was the only major world religion born with Christianity already in full bloom that consciously defined itself in direct opposition to the core Christian doctrines of the incarnation, atoning crucifixion, and resurrection.”

Islam is expressly of the spirit of antichrist and has been since its founding.

So now look at Matthew 4:8-9 “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”

There are many things that could be said of this passage but in this context it is this that seems relevant: Islam’s spread was among and by those who worshipped the beast.

The contrast between the Kingdom (Christ told Pilate that His Kingdom was not of this world for if it was then His disciples would be fighting) and the bloodbath of early Islam cannot be starker.

And the reason should be clear: the devil’s kingdom is only in this world and it ends badly for him. So his disciples fought, and fought hard, once they’d been given a doctrine suitable for that purpose.

There is said to be a story about a man, IIRC, who had a merchant (on whom much of his own income depended) murdered because the merchant had slighted Islam or the prophet ... when he did this and it became known a third man was so impressed that he would murder for his faith that he became Muslim.

At the time of Islam’s foisting itself on the world there had been centuries worth of the rejection of the Gospel and so many people for it to harvest and direct towards its ends.

This is a multi-faceted issue, but to really simplify things, Islam arose at the very moment when the Roman and Sasanian Empires-the 2 great world powers at the time-were in steep decline, and focused almost entirely on dealing with each other and intra-empire resistance/schisms.

Even so, the Byzantine Empire could have thwarted the expansion of Islam if it had recognized the threat it posed.

But you're correct, the military conquests of the early Caliphate were remarkable. Robert Spencer details much of this in his book, The History of Jihad, from Muhammed to ISIS.

I just finished reading, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus. Outstanding book. It talks about some of the challenges of evangelizing to Muslims.

It's remarkable what Nabeel accomplished in such a short time.

I just finished reading Answering Jihad, but did reviews of both his memoir and his apologetics book, which provides the best explanation of the Trinity that I've ever come across.

Previous Popes led the fight against Islam and saved Europe from being conquered by Islam.

The ImPopester is determined to surrender all of it.
Not just Europe but the entire world, which is the goal of Islam.

You are misinformed. I am personally close to a committed Christian who used to be Muslim. You are disastrously underestimating the power of the Holy Spirit. Don’t do that.
