Holy See Asks Missouri Governor to Halt Scheduled Execution
VATICAN CITY — The Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Christopher Pierre, asked the governor of Missouri on Monday to spare the life of Ernest Johnson, a man sentenced with the death penalty for murdering three people in the 1990s.
“In the Holy Father’s name,” Archbishop Pierre wrote to Governor Michael Parson, “I sincerely request the you halt the planned execution of the Mr. Johnson and grant him some appropriate form of clemency.”
Archbishop Pierre wrote that the Holy Father’s request is not based on “the facts and circumstances of his crimes; who could not argue that grave crimes such as this deserve grave punishments?”
Johnson, who was trying to rob a convenience store for drug money, killed three employees: 46-year-old Mary Bratcher, 57-year-old Mable Scruggs, and 58-year-old Fred Jones, the Associated Press reported.

Bergoglio appears to be more concerned about saving the lives of condemned murderers than the lives of babies.

He murdered three women he knew at a convenience store with a hammer.
And there is no doubt he did it.
He had a medical procedure while on death row that impaired his cognitive abilities, but so what?
Three women. With a hammer.

Johnson was convicted of murder in 1995, one year after prosecutors said he brutally beat three people to death with a claw hammer inside Casey’s General Store as he robbed it during closing for drug money. His victims included Mary Bratcher, 46; Mable Scruggs, 57; and Fred Jones, 58. Authorities said that after the killings, Johnson hid their bodies in a walk-in cooler.

The “Holy” See? Do you “see” what I see? Buddying up with a career criminal—you are known by the company you keep. Go ahead and execute that triple murderer.

There is nothing ‘holy’ about this old goat. I hope and pray that Joey 10% godfather and the pagan impostor will be what draws to an end of spiritual wickedness… in high places.. only the Heavenly Father can cleanse this earth from the prince of darkness, and his servants.

The guy requesting this is a Canadian. This low life instead should be comforting the families of the murdered victims.

Perhaps the Missouri governor could reach a compromise with the “Holy See”. As the “Holy See” remains irrationally frightened of the Fauci Flu, the governor could commit to the “Holy See” that everyone,, including the condemned, will wear a mask during the morally, ethically, religiously and judicially justified execution of this vicious multiple murderer of innocent life.

First of all, the relatives of the victims must agree, justice must be balanced with mercy.

Citing Pope Francis’ encyclical Fratelli tutti, Archbishop Pierre wrote: “Do not let the atrocity of their sins feed a desire for vengeance, but desire instead to heal the wounds which those deeds have inflicted.” Since we don't have any supernatural beings on standby or on our beckon call, we have to heal the wounds which those deeds have inflicted, in this case, by executing the perpetrator. -Tom

Hey no problem. Just send a priest to see him, forgive all his sins, whether he is remorseful or not, and zip ... straight to heaven he is off to after execution.
