>> #1 Mary was the mother of Jesus the man <<

And, inspired by the Holy Spirit, Elizabeth said to Mary: who am I, that the mother of OUR LORD should come to me?

>> #2 Mary was a sinner, just like you and me <<

Where is that in the Bible?

Do you honestly think that Christ, God as well as Man, would spend 9 months in an impure vessel? But Mary herself credits God as she calls Him her Savior. Like us, Mary was saved from sin by God.

>> #3 Marys salvation is not connected to anyone elses salvation. <<

Do you never pray for someone else to be saved? Do you never ask anyone else to help you pray for the salvation of someone?

I have heard Protestants talk about prayer warriors... do you seriously think that *His mother* is not the greatest prayer warrior of all time?

Sin is a disease or deformity in a manner of speaking. Every human being has it.

If any human being were free of sin, they could have gone to the Cross instead of Jesus.

That said, Mary was the most wonderful, least sinful, and most highly honored of any female who ever lived (obviously).

BTW, if Mary were sinless (free of the disease and deformity of spirit), that would also mean that her parents were free of it...and their parents...and so on...back to the beginning of humanity.

If you call the sinner Mary an impure vessel, then yes. What does the Bible say? Heb. 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto his brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Yes, Mary was a sinner. That's covered in the Romans 3:23 verse "Because none of us are sinless, all of us fall short of God's glory.".

“Where is that in the Bible?”

Well, there’s Romans 3:23, for one. It doesn’t say “all have sinned, except for Mary”.

“Do you honestly think that Christ, God as well as Man, would spend 9 months in an impure vessel?”

Why not? Jesus wore imperfect clothes, imperfect sandals, ate imperfect food, and lived with imperfect people for 33 years. I think he could probably tolerate 9 months more imperfection to accomplish his goal.

Luke 1:46-55 And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit ... Luke 1:46-55 NIV. And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.

Note: Christ spent +30 years in a sin-steeped world.

Certainly. Christ came to John the Baptist to be baptized.

He was man in addition to God.

Where is that in the Bible?

All have sinned and come short of the glory of GOD.

Romans 3:23

Do you honestly think that Christ, God as well as Man, would spend 9 months in an impure vessel?

Mary and Joseph sure thought so!!

Luke 2:22-24
When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord  (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”),  and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.”

The LAW!

Leviticus 12:7-8
Then he shall offer it before the LORD and make atonement for her, and she shall be cleansed from the flow of her blood. This is the law for her who bears a child, whether a male or a female.
'But if she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, the one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean.'"

Pure, sinless Mary??
Not according to Rome's Book;    1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

That's the way it is WRITTEN.

THIS is the way it is TAUGHT:  1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us; the only exception being Mary, Mother of GOD, of course.

Rome has published facts, in it's book,  that have turned IT's 'Mary' into a HYPOCRITE, by painting her as SINLESS, yet writing of her going into the temple to make a SIN offering.

The word for *Lord* (Kurios) is NOT the same word for *God* (theos).

Conflating them is disingenuous and exceedingly poor translation practice.

That is the most pathetic rationalization for the alleged sinlessness of Mary that anyone could fabricate.

Yes.

Jesus identifies with us completely in our humanity.

The Jesus of Scripture is not so weak and fragile that He cannot tolerate the presence of sinful mankind.

Jesus purity is not a matter of outside contamination but of inward character.

No.

We don't know who that would be.
