An earlier poster thought the "A" name was Egyptian and the "C" name Pakistani.

Of course, they could both be fake names. Or, they could both have nothing to do with this. But we can always speculate!

I believe the "C" name is Bengali. I believe there are both Hindus and Muslims in Bengal who have that name. Of course, if our guy was from Bangladesh (the former East Pakistan, and thus predominantly Muslim) or a Muslim from West Bengal, part of India (there are plenty of Muslims in India,) the media might be ignorant of the subtleties and still call him Pakistani.
