Let's repeat that. "After" the World Trade Center attack. "Between late October and December 1, the State Department granted nonimmigrant U.S. visas to at least 7,000 men from countries in which al Qaeda is active."

Sad. Very sad.

I keep forgetting which is a Democrat and which is a Republican

I find myself in the same predicament.

There are only two types of people who would think Kennedy is a fabulous US Senator:

A moron

or

A liberal

Take your pick.

Do you think it just mught possibly be because we are at WAR?

We are at war, and we have a set of circumstances that require immediate action, if our nation is to recover quickly. I swear I think some of you are down with the TALIBAN!!! This post belongs on the Democratic Underground site!!!

Keep saying this. Eventually, you will believe.

Newsflash! The economy sucked long before 9/11/01.

I need to ask...what war did Congress declare? Are we at war with the Constitution?

Pass the jingoistic kool-aid...

You got it. And the last thing I and this country need is a president running a public relations campaign for the Kennedys.

Where's That Surplus Banked
"To cover the lies and propaganda, the federal budget calls this enormous debt (which politicians and the media call a "surplus") as "debt securities" carried as "assets," a trick punishable by jail if it were executed by a private corporation."

“We’ve got an Enron government,”

Remember the old days when Republicans talked a great deal about how it was very important that we cut the size and scope of government power?

Remember when Republicans said that if we just held the budget in place for a few years, in effect that would be a reduction in government and taxes.

We are projected to have 80 Billion deficit spending this year. It will likely be much worse.

Why has the GOP left behind the basic principles of Conservatism???????
