Glenn Beck

Posted on 01/29/2012 6:35:42 AM PST by MSGT1

Why is Glenn Beck lying to destroy Newt?? Glenn has voiced support for Santorum while his actions are pushing Mitt. On his propaganda page the blaze in one day he had 14 hit pieces on Newt, 9 puff pieces on Mitt and 2 stories mentioning Santorum {one of those could be considered negative}. The amount of dishonesty in those articles and his radio show is mind boggling. Glenn is abusing the trust people have placed in him and trying to get the most liberal candidate the nomination.

Newt was surging in Iowa so Glenn went scorched earth and by catching people by surprise, they fell back on their trust for Beck and gave Iowa to Santorum. By the time South Carolina rolled around people were seeing through Beck and Newt won. Going into Fl. Newt pulling ahead and Beck having used up his trust the baton was passed to Drudge and down goes Newt again.

Now why would Glenn do that?? Could it be as simple as this?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Horse_Prophecy

Breitbart was right and we could have saved a lot of grief had we listened to him. Glenn Beck hasn't been telling us what he was for but outright lying and attacking Newt and anyone that backs Newt. Beck is willing to destroy the election process using Alinsky tactics to get Mittens in. We have been had.

My goal isn't to flame but to cause thought. I know Beck has fans and I know he has FOLLOWERS. Followers can't be reasoned with. Man has a need for God and many times and for many reasons people try to deify other men. I suggest they draw closer to the real God.

I can lead you to knowledge but I can't make you think. I hope you take this and carefully consider this post. Accept it or dismiss it, it's cool. I expect some of you will not and will lash out. Let the games begin..

How about pointing one out then...

The truth has no agenda. You, on the other hand, obviously do!

We all have changed based on the circumstances. Beck is taking Newt’s words out of context and Beck didn’t go psycho until Newt surged in the polls for Iowa.

Glenn can hit Newt on what he’s doing now with the class warfare but he needs to stop lying

You can?

You signed up yesterday just to lead us?

“I listen to Glenn’s show everyday on the radio. He has excoriated Romney many times. To say he is endorsing Romney is nuts.”

I've posted those same words here on other anti-Glenn threads. And the replies I get is “he is only pretending to hate Romney, so we don't think that he actually supports Romney”. Something seriously flawed with that logic.

Don't know anybody from Free Conservatives. I trust these people.

We don't agree on everything but one thing we do agree on is examples.

You have yet to give one example of a lie Beck has told about Gingrich.

The closest you've come is the ethics violation thing.

Newt can explain that away himself and win many converts in the process. He was forced out by a bunch of spineless Republicans.

He should take a lesson from Sarah Palin and paint himself as taking on the good old boys network.

You can't pin that entirely on Beck.

As for the Andrew Jackson thing. Beck didn't bring it up. Newt did. The "enemy" Jackson was referring to was most likely the Indians of Florida who Jackson forcibly removed from their land in what became known as The Trail Of Tears.

Newt can win this one, too, if he explains which enemies Jackson was so fond of killing if it wasn't those Indians.

But to point out that part of Jackson's Presidency is not a "lie". Perhaps there is some context involved. It's up to Newt to provide it.

He brung it up.

I will say this for Beck, as annoying as he is, he has done tons for the cause of Conservatism over the years. Yes, he was a drunk. Maybe he did drugs while Newt orchestrating the Reagan Revolution.

But while Newt was sitting on the couch with Nanzi Pelosi preparing to stick it to us with Global Warming legislation, Beck was out there taking the flaming arrows from Geoge Soros and his America hating minions.

Even getting himself thrown off of FOX because they didn't like his let-the-chips-fall-where-they-may attitude.

How about you read what I already posted and we can go from there. No need in repeating the same things over and over.

You are correct about my agenda. I am trying to tell people the truth. I help pay for Beck’s house of lies and it is my moral obligation to attempt to correct it

He’s not even pretending. He is trashing Newt and promoting Mitt. Look at his website. Look at the past articles on the blaze. Search the blaze for Newt, Mitt and Santorum

So, the theory is Beck is trying to bring on the fulfillment of the White Horse Prophecy? From the link you posted:

"You will see the Constitution of the United States almost destroyed. It will hang like a thread as fine as a silk fiber.... I love the Constitution; it was made by the inspiration of God; and it will be preserved and saved by the efforts of the White Horse, and by the Red Horse[9] who will combine in its defense."

Who is the White Horse?

The Mormons "will go to the Rocky Mountains and will be a great and mighty people established there, which I will call the White Horse of peace and safety." It doesn't sound like the White Horse is a single person, but rather all Mormons.

Beck, himself, did a decent job educating his audience about Constitutional issues while he had his Fox program and there are plenty of things happening right now that show various efforts to cut that barely a thread our Constitution is hanging by.

Perhaps Beck's moment, before he went over the edge, was to briefly ride that White Horse like Paul Revere to awaken Americans to what is taking place, contributing to the rise of the Tea Party? The sleeping giant (Red states = the "Red Horse"?) is waking up.

Besides, does Mitt Romney sound like someone who'd ride to the Constitution's rescue? He seems more like someone holding the knife and sawing away at the thread.

I’ve worn out plenty of LP’s, 8-Tracks and cassettes listening to that and, to a lesser extent, A Passion Play.

Some of these people are from FC.

I have given several examples of Beck lying.

As for Andrew Jackson, Newt said he was referring to his battle in SC. Beck jumped in with the indians

Actually Beck often tells his listeners...

do your own homework, don’t take my word for it.

Beck, and I’ve heard his show lately and turn it off, is wrong on this one. For all his anti-progressive rhetoric his actions speak louder than his words.

Savy ...Beck listeners I think realize this. Santorum is a hanger on...Beck’s eggs are all in one basket.

You are correct about my agenda.

I wouldn't have taken the time to comment otherwise.

Even Ray Charles could see you have an agenda here. Your statement about paying for a full year of GBTV+, is a dead give away that you're on someones payroll.

I help pay for Beck’s house of lies and it is my moral obligation to attempt to correct it

To repeat myself; how 'bout naming one then! Especially since you have a "house of lies" to work with...

You can't and that makes you a liar and probably a paid troll.

I owe you an apology, newfound FRiend.

I took your advice and visited TheBlaze.com

And what is the first thing my eyes behold? A lying lie told by that lying liar fat drunk pothead pig Glenn Beck!

Thank you for setting me straight.

You have my eternal gratitude.

The nerve of Glenn Beck. Trying to make us believe that Herman Cain endorsed Newt Gingrich.

Get me a rope.

I listen to Beck every day and am a subscriber to GBTV. I agree with you on his feelings for Romney. He used the words, “Romney would be a disaster”. Does that sound like someone supporting Romney? If there is one candidate he seems to support it's Santorum.

Both Newt and Romney are seriously flawed candidates, but it looks like that is what we are going to be stuck with. We need to stop throwing each other under the bus because we prefer one over the other. The primary will soon be over with and we need to be on the same team again or we will have four more years of Obama. The least we can do is hope for one helluva VEEP.

I’m definitely not for Romney, but the obsession over Gingrich on this site is disturbing to me. Gingrich betrayed conservatives many many times in the past (DeDe Scozzafava, anyone?), and IMO, I don’t think he has changed one bit.

That said, I would definitely want him over Romney, but right now, I’m sticking with Santorum until if and when he decides to stop.
