What impact will the election results have on Tea Party and GOP?

Posted on 10/19/2013 10:34:05 PM PDT by granada

If a Democrat wins in Virginia, Chris Christie wins in New Jersey........

The polls indicate so called "moderate democrat" will get redstate Virginia, and so called "moderate republican" will survive in a bluestate.

TOPICS: New Jersey; Virginia; Polls; State and Local
KEYWORDS: barbarabuono; chrischristie; finos; gop; kencuccinelli; newjersey; robertsarvis; teaparty; terrymcauliffe; virginia

so called “moderate democrat”

Emphasize the so-called. Fast Terry is not a moderate, nor an ideologue. He’s just a crook looking to bleed Virginia dry. If they elect this Blago wannabe, they deserve everything they get.

It will be a blow to us, but we all know the score with Virginia. You can’t be in the vicinity of the snake pit and not slowly soak up the poison.

the GOP? it bends which ever way the political winds blow.

however, the tea party is made up of self-selected, self-generaled, conservatives: believers in God, the founding, and the Constitution.

so whatever the D.C. party does—short of murdering us—has exactly zero effect. we have no power beyond what we do as individuals lest the good Lord apply our efforts for us to good effect. we might change tack depending on any windfall opportunity or weakness we perceive in the enemy, but that’s just individual tea partyers acting as their own agents.

This only works in states where there is a large population of low to no information voters.

There is a third party candidate, who is pulling abouy 10%, that is almost the exact percentage Cucinelli is behind McCauliffe in the polls.

Not hearing anything about McAwful’s green car company here in VA outside the article I read on FR a couple weeks ago.

Every relative of Hillary will descend on Virginia and strip the state clean. Fast Terry and his friends will even take all of Virginia’s copper piping.
