COLUMBIA, S.C.On his inaugural trip to South Carolina as a presidential candidate, Scott Walker is trying hard to show that he shares the cultural values and tastes of the region that serves as the heart of the modern Republican Party. He even started peppering his stump speech with some yalls for the occasion.

No smear. All that will be mentioned is that he is a first term Senator. Nobody cares about what they do as a state worker. If you don’t have top job at state then really it doesn’t count.
So you don’t have any clue what a solicitor general is?
Plz add me to the list!
If it is obvious to you why democrats win, why is’nt it obvious to conservative “republicans”?
The primaries in IA, NH & SC will separate the most popular candidates from the less popular. Keep an open mind until then. No need to firmly jump in one camp or another.
The first republican debate is only 5 months away!
Do not get into an argument who is better, Walker or Cruz.
Both have their pluses and minuses.
Pop the corn, get a cold one, watch the polls, watch the first presidential candidate’s debate coming up in 5 months on Fox News, and there will be plenty time to unite behind a candidate. Polls are never the final election, but historically they have been accurate most of the time within margin of error, especially when several polls from different institutions point the same way.
Until them, I'm sitting this one out.
Is Politico a leftist publication?
Obviously Americans don't have a clue 'who can win'...We're pretty good at picking losers...
The fact it, it's the Independents who determine whether a candidate wins or loses...In the age of the internet, a GOPe candidate again, will not win...
Experience at what...There is no position in gov't that prepares anyone to be President...
Left of center, not as lefty as MsNBC.
We are good at dividing more conservative voters in Primaries. GOPe is smart, they back only ONE candidate.
Mitt Vs (Newt+Ricky) in 2012
McCain vs (Huckabee+Giuliani+Duncan Hunter+Paul) in 2008
Dole Vs (Buchanan+Forbes+Phil Gramm+Alan Keys) in 1996
There are not enough conservative republicans to anoint multiple conservatives over ONE RINO backed by GOPe.
watch the first presidential candidates debate coming up in 5 months on Fox News,
Wow....it is going to be on Fox News? That is certainly a plus.
That's the truth...But you'd think they would wise up eventually instead of losing all the time...If we lose, they lose...
Fair warning: Be prepared to be disappointed to a large degree. None of the leading candidates will deport 11 to 15 million illegals in the country. When you allow illegals to remain, it is certainly a form of Amnesty.
It is a political game. All candidates must bow down to their big campaign cash donors. Those rich donors want the cheap labor of illegals. However there will be subtle difference on how each candidate will tackle the illegal problem.
The GOPe will not change. What needs to change is the other more conservative candidates get rid of ego’s, become unselfish, make some deals and get behind one conservative candidate who seems most electable in general.
In 2016, watch my words....GOPe will back only ONE candidate..Jeb Bush. In their minds he is the most electable. GOPe considers Tea Partiers extreme.
Thanks.
Walker is just a hair ahead of that with 5
But Walker has additional successful experience as county executive where he won REPEATEDLY in a deeply blue county.
It is a massive inducement for further illegal immigration.
The choice between Amnesty and "Massive Roundup of Millions" is a false choice. (though a popular slogan for defending Amnesty treason).
....there will be plenty time to unite behind a candidate.

We are Conservatives. We don’t do that. We leave it to the RINOs to unite behind a candidate. We like to bite and devour all the Conservative candidates one at a time until they’re all wounded, bruised and bleeding and eventually defeated by the lone RINO who will lose to the Liberal DemocRAT in the General Election. And, by damn, we ain’t changin’.
