Sanders and Trump are making the race a lot more interesting
Washington Post ^ | July 2, 2015 | Paul Waldman

according to the Huffington Post Pollster poll average, Donald Trump now sits atop the GOP field with an average of 13.6 percent support, nosing out Jeb Bush at 13.3. Yes, that difference is essentially meaningless, and yes, those are very small numbers to begin with. But it’s still alarming to see Trump’s name at the top of the list, to say the least.

Trump being candid on immigration is exposing the GOPe amnesty pushers, I hope he keeps speaking out.

One is a Stalinist who wants to impose Soviet-style Communism on the United States. The other is a Capitalist who wants fair trade and secure borders.

Q: Which one generates the most negative media coverage, and which one is lionized as America’s savior?

I wish that rump would speak about the opposite side of the immigration coin.

The Obamanation of Desolation has so reinterpreted the US tax laws that all ex-patriots who live and work over seas are now tax criminals. Many cannot go back to the US even if they want too.

Alternately wealthy people cannot immigrate to the US because they get hit with huge taxes right off the bat.

The media is afraid to cover Sanders too much because every time people hear his name, he takes a couple percentage points away from Hillary. They’d love to tear him apart, but he really does represent Progressive “values” better than Hillary.

So, they double their efforts to destroy Trump because, as someone pointed out, these two are the anti-UniParty candidates and if it came down to the general election, Sanders would scare the hell out of the electorate and give Trump a win.

Get a bolt action rifle, while you can. Trump will try to outlaw semi-automatic rifles.

Wouldn’t it be wild if those two end up facing each other in the general election?

Donald Trump on gun control.

http://www.ontheissues.org/donald_trump.htm#Gun_Control
Dems and Reps are both wrong on guns
It’s often argued that the American murder rate is high because guns are more available here than in other countries. Democrats want to confiscate all guns, which is a dumb idea because only the law-abiding citizens would turn in their guns and the bad guys would be the only ones left armed. The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions. Source: The America We Deserve, by Donald Trump, p.102 , Jul 2, 2000

For assault weapon ban, waiting period, & background check I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun. With today’s Internet technology we should be able to tell within 72-hours if a potential gun owner has a record. Source: The America We Deserve, by Donald Trump, p.102 , Jul 2, 2000

They’re both jerks. Hillary won’t be the Dem candidate, but it probably won’t be Bernie the Looney either. I think it will be Michelle Obama or Biden.

Trump is a compete distraction. Aside from being wrong and becoming a parody of the GOP that will make him an easy target, he’s a distraction. There’s a problem with immigraton, and not only Mexican immigration.

I’d actually say Mexicans are not the major problem but are an easy target for clown candidates like Trump, since he won’t take on the real problem: huge numbers of African and other Muslim immig of legal, but with no enforcement for visa overstayers (such as the Tsarnaevs).

Shouldn’t we be getting the semi-automatics now, and the bolt actions later?

Right now they are popular because they are outsiders willing to buck the system. But once the campaigns really get going they are going to have to present their intended policies in a more specific way, and that’s when I think their popularity will drop off. Many of Bernie’s policies are too far left for most voters, and Trump’s just a blowhard tossing out populist generalities.

I agree. This is all good. I like Trump. And you know, I know that Bernie is a socialist and I vehemently disagree with him, but at least you know where the man stands. He has some integrity. Hillary? Not so much.

I support ban on offensive weapons such as...cannons, RPG’s, Howitzers, anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank guns, muzzle loading mortars, hand grenades, mines, etc.

Assault guns on the other hand are mis-understood. If it is just a multi-shell magazine weapons, it is not a real “assault” weapon. You can’t subdue any well armed police with such weapon.

Personally all I need is a 12 guage and a Glock to defend my home from intruders.
