Cruz sternly rebuked by GOP

Mitch McConnell’s efforts to fund the government without attacking Planned Parenthood. In an unusual rebuke, even fellow Republicans denied him a “sufficient second” that would have allowed him a roll call vote.

Then, his Republican colleagues loudly bellowed “no” when Cruz sought a voice vote, a second repudiation that showed how little support Cruz has: Just one other GOP senator — Utah’s Mike Lee — joined with Cruz as he was overruled by McConnell and his deputies.

It was the second time that Cruz had been denied a procedural courtesy that’s routinely granted to senators in both parties. The first came after he called McConnell a liar this summer.

You’re known by the enemies you keep.

Credit where credit is due. Nice badge of honor for Sen. Cruz.

Yes. The gop is defending 24 seats in the Senate in 2016. I’ll go out on a limb and predict that they’ll lose a lot of them. Unfortunately it won’t be ALL of them.

Great graphic btw.

The sad thing is that many conservatives are so enamored of a liberal entertainer that they have been ignoring the conservative champion of our time. Its time for us to quite messing around and get behind Cruz to go take our country back

Sad, true and true. Maybe this PP fight will signal the beginning of a new, more aggressive Cruz campaign.

One of the biggest yet one of the few Palin endorsement mistakes over the years.

Is this the same McConnell who in a recent campaign was endorsed by Senator Rand Paul?

Yet, Boehner considers himself the model of civility and decorum. He always did save his nastiest remarks for other republicans.

“One of the biggest yet one of the few Palin endorsement mistakes over the years.”

Mark Levin endorsed Hatch, too.

Now The Great One calls Hatch a Liar every time Mark mentions his name.

Hatch is earning some very bad publicity.

Isn’t funny how all the candidates talked tougher than hell on Planned Parenthood in the debates but where are they when something can be done? Obviously, some of them are not in the Senate so they can’t do anything directly but ALL could offer moral support. Shame on Rubio and Paul.
