The New Ted Cruz “War Room” Web Ad Is One Of The Best Things You’ll Ever See
The Louisiana Hayride ^ | April 20, 2016 | Scott McKay, publisher

No, really. This is one of the best political commercials ever made.

It won’t be on TV unless it gets recut, because it’s two and a half minutes long, but to recut this would be a shame. It packs in many of the reasons why Cruz is a better nominee than Trump, gets across the key point that if Trump is the nominee the media which has been fawning over him will turn on him the same way they turned on John McCain and Hillary’s opposition research feeding into the media coverage will turn the entire general election race into an implosion, and points out that Cruz can make the case for himself as the embodiment of what the American people say they’re looking for in a president.

But even if you don’t buy the substance of the ad, you have to appreciate the showbiz of it. It’s one of the best-produced pieces you’ll see in a campaign spot. This woman they’ve got playing Hillary Clinton is perfect. Looks just like her and does a great impersonation without saying a thing. The actress playing Huma Abedin also looks just like her, and does just enough to scare the crap out of anybody not already scared by the prospect of Huma Abedin being Valerie Jarrett Version 2.0. There’s even a John Podesta lookalike.

You couldn’t knock this down to a :60 spot, I don’t think, but if you could it ought to run over and over and over and over again in every remaining state. Clearly the campaign hopes releasing it will cause the cable news networks to run it in their news packages and give it earned media exposure, plus have it go viral on social media and the blogosphere. For a spot this good that could well work. It’s worth watching as entertainment, not just a political ad.

Consider this love. Consider this our puppy-faced adoration for the Cruz campaign a la Sean Hannity’s nauseating sycophantic treatment of Trump. Consider it whatever you want; we’re fine with it. An ad this good speaks for itself.

Trump now appears even more as the Warrior, fighting not only for America but also battling dirty dealing, party corruption, and all that it is wrong with politics.
- - - - - -
Amen! And Donald J. Trump doesn’t continually say that he is going to “fight for” this and that. He tells you what he is going to do about this and that, because he knows and we know that he can actually do these things.

Here's what I'm telling people about Donald Trump:

Trump is the only shot anybody has, any time soon, at a president who isn't owned by Wall St. fat-cats. The rest, both parties, are totally owned as Bill Bennett notes and, in my view, one more Wall St. owned presidency would finish this country.

In particular, somebody like Sanders or Martin O'Malloy would have to totally sell out to get anywhere close to the white house.

Trump has not come down on the wrong side of a meaningful issue so far to my knowledge. Issues he's on the right side of include the Russia/Putin issues and the greentard/Malthusian issues and all dems are on the wrong side of at least one of those.

He is the only shot you will ever have of seeing those 28 pages of that 9/11 report.

As Justin Raimondo at antiwar.com notes, DT's instinctive dislike for frivolous uses of the US military goes all the way back and is not just words which he has started mouthing for this particular campaign. Any of he other candidates, in my view, would be likely to get us into a major war.

The remaining big issue is that of money and banking and that should be an easy sale for people like Ellen Brown. Trump has spent 40 some years amassing a personal fortune while simultaneously watching bankers walk off with the lion's share of every deal that ever goes down other than cash on the barrel head; he could not possibly harbor any love for those bastards.

In fact the bankers have just now declared total war on the guy:
http://www.politico.com/story/2016/03/donald-trump-wall-street-220141

Trump in fact strikes me as being so far towards what many are looking for that the establishment is likely to resort to extreme measures to prevent him from serving as president.
http://www.usmessageboard.com/threads/bill-bennett-they-will-kill-trump-before-they-let-him-be-a-president.457721/

At this juncture, we're snaffed so badly that I'm not interested in a candidate who DOESN'T scare the idiots. This fear is behind the tidal wave of propaganda against trump, even as it is behind the propaganda against Vladimir Putin and Russia.

How does the party of Franklin Roosevelt come to a point at which all they can offer the American people is a choice between a witch and a bum??

The dem party has abandoned any thought of competing in any sort of a marketplace of ideas and tries to win via technique and gaming, including attempting to simply import voting blocks for themselves and, sooner or later, that sort of an approach to politics drives brains and talent out of the picture; there simply isn't any sort of natural selection for brains and talent within the party under those circumstances.

points out that Cruz can make the case for himself as the embodiment of what the American people say they’re looking for in a president. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And who now will suddenly believe Lyin’ Ted? He is like the former president Nixon, full of dirty tricks. He is a man who says one thing and does another, and has shown the kind of president he will be by his bad faith conduct during this nominee election cycle. It all started with Iowa when Ted lied to get Ben Carson’s delegates, by fraudulently stating that Carson was exciting the race. And it when on and on from there.

So now people are going to believe what Cruz says about himself as the embodiment of an American president? He is the embodiment of Nixon.

Cruz might possibly one day make a good head of the CIA, after he matures a little into some semblance of sophistication, where he can author his dirty tricks to use against foreign enemies instead of against Americans, but Cruz by his horrible conduct, has proven to everyone that he is not presidential material, just as Nixon was not.

Trump on the other hand has run a frugal campaign with great success, stretching his dollars ad infinitum, showing that he is a man who can use money properly and efficiently. That’s what our government needs, not a man like Cruz who dishonestly tries to spend his way into office through “advertising.”

VOTE FOR TRUMP ( Not for the Nixonian Cruz)

Maybe you can help Bill Still track down this important witness before Hillary does. Imagine if neither of Ted’s parents were American Citizens at the time of his birth in Canada. Would Hillary be able to use that?

Still Report #804 - The Search For Cruz’s Neighbor

This story has been floating around the Internet since, at least, January. But I just saw it after I put up my first video today. I had a big day planned, but this completely blew up my plans.

I’ve been a reporter for a very long time. I worked on finding the person who supposedly made these comments all day – possibly to no avail.

Tonight, I think I’ve found this lady. I think this is her, Elisa Marie Sluijs, possibly originally from: Pincher Creek, AB, Canada. Possible maiden name, Elisa or Eliza Kruse – that’s Kruse with a capital K. Interesting, eh?
I’ve left messages for her to email me, so I can call her and get her on tape. But like many people who are my age, she obviously isn’t connected 24/7. I’ve done my best. What we really need is some who knows her, personally – who has eyes on.

If you know her, before you urge her to email me, ask her if she was Ted Cruz’s mother’s neighbor in Calgary, Alberta, Canada from 1968 to 74.

If she says yes, then email me, and have her email me at stillreport@gmail.com. Then I’ll call her and verify these facts.

So, what we need is for someone out there to recognize this woman, Elisa Marie Sluijs. It’s not a common name. I lived next door to Eleanor Elizabeth Wilson for many years. I was present when she went to Canada Immigration in 1968 and denounced her US Citizenship and surrendered her US Passport.

She, at that time, was given Canadian Citizenship. She went directly from there to the Canada Manpower Office and obtained a Canadian Social Insurance number.

She then went to Alberta Health and obtained an Alberta Health card. She also registered to Vote in the Canadian elections and did so as a Canadian citizen.

No Americans can vote in Canadian elections, nor can they hold Alberta Health coverage, nor reside in Canada that long with out being deported for over staying their visa.
She was not an American at the time of his birth. I know. I was there, I know too, she went to the American Consulate in Calgary.

She was told she had given up her citizenship and her children had no status in the United States.

She used her birth certificate to re-enter the US under false pretenses as a US citizen in 1974, and did not let on that she had denounced her citizenship I expect. I’m Still reporting from Washington. Good Day

I started out to give this the benefit of the doubt and I went to the site where this video is supposed to be linked...(gypped BTW from YouTube) but it wouldn’t load and all I got were serial Reuters spots running a minute each.

Thanks to Iowamark, BTW who gave the YouTube link which I did watch in it’s entirety.

Actually, it’s cute. The unproven claims about ‘friends at the IRS’ and ‘full of bombshells’ and tax credits are great on the face of them, were it not for the fact that Trump is under IRS audit continuously and that his tax people know the IRS code better than the IRS.

Let’s just put it like this: If Donald ‘cheated’ his taxes, it was by their rules. Just like the ‘rules’ that Ted Cruz got his delegates in Utah and Colorado.

Frankly, it was a worse hit to Hillary than a benefit to Cruz, and it lost whatever showcase he had for his actual accomplishments by Ted Cruz in favor of trying to take out an opponent who, despite Ted’s implications, has still gotten more VOTER support than he.

Otherwise, a nice ad. The actors were good (seen some of them before) and the actor playing Hillary was a good younger version of he.

Isn’t this a little late. The voters have already eliminated Ted Cruz. He’s mathematically out of the race. Only way he could win now is not thru voters

Seeing as how every judge that has actually seen it has ruled differently, just curious where did you get your law degree?

“How can we stop Ted Cruz?

Just let him run in a presidential primary. That seems to do the trick. ;)

His “friends” made this for him?

From its third-rate nature, it looks like it was the Katy (TX) High School AV Club using actors from the Sugarland Drive-In Dinner Theater.

Are we talking about the Marxist courts that say it is OK for a mother to kill he unborn child? The same courts that say a man can marry a man and a woman can marry a woman? The courts that allow the law enforcement to seize private property from someone that has not been convicted of a crime. You are siting those courts as a legal authority?

Only one idiot court has ruled on the merits. Any real court would rule the son of a Cuban born in Canada is not a natural born citizen of these United States. Why has Cruz sealed all his citizenship records? Why has Cruz sealed all is school records? What is he hiding?

Otherwise, a nice ad

I thought it was original but not real effective. Nothing in it tells us what Cruz would do as President....no vision. Trump has given us campaign promises to visualize....a big shiny wall, workers back in factories, carpet bombing ISIS, disabled Veterans in homes and cared for.

Think about it. This ad doesn't create a positive image for potential Cruz supporters to cling on to. It just might help Trump by putting an even uglier face on hillary.

Still advertising for Cruz, 2ndDiv? Tsk, tsk. At this point, he is nothing more than a spoiler, trying desperately to keep the only real threat to the establishment from winning the nomination. That's all.

And what did this "ad" show? I dunno--a few tired old tropes about Trump that have been trotted out over and over with little effect, and a whole lot of hinting and insinuation that Cruz would do something--we don't know what, but something. This commercial obviously is aimed at emotions, not intellect. Your name implies that you have military background--during your military service, did no one ever teach you that if you are going to brief (and convince) "the" general, to stick with the facts and keep the emotion out of it?

The mere fact that Cruz chose that campaign slogan, "TRUSTED" indicates to me that you can't trust him at all. Only scammers keep telling you over and over how trustworthy they are, and they'll do it with a slimy smooth and soft voice. People who are really trustworthy don't bother telling you about it--they show you.

Anyway, most of this is probably moot. It looks like Cruz's anomalous, almost voterless, "winning" streak is over.

I think I agree with you. But as a Trump voter, I am not the most objective in this. I guess my position on it is that it just doesn’t matter now because Cruz is mathematically out of a 1st Ballot win at the convention, so what good could this ad do but be a disrupter to take more votes away from Trump in the remaining contests? They certainly won’t push Ted over 1237. He’ll not air it because he can spend the ad money on wheedling delegates for that second ballot in which he thinks he has a chance.

My position on it is that a man playing with his own money wouldn’t do the same risky things he would do with someone else’s money.
