Im excited to sign up for @Verrit, a media platform for the 65.8 million! Hillary Clinton tweeted Saturday night. Will you join me and sign up too?
There are several ways in which this was a bad tweet.
One is her decision to endorse Verrit, a site that, for the hours it was online after her tweet, appears to function a bit like early iterations of the website Upworthy. News articles portraying Clinton and Democrats in a favorable light or President Trump in a negative one are bunched together for easy sharing on social media networks. The hook, such as it is, is that each factoid is verified using a seven-digit code to prove that it has been vetted. Whos doing the vetting and how reliable that process is would, presumably, be demonstrated over time, though theres certainly reason to be skeptical. When I tried it over the weekend, the validation system didnt work.
More questionable, though, was the way in which Clintons tweet (and Verrits value proposition) is framed: a media platform for the 65.8 million.
Those 65.8 million, of course, are the Americans who voted for Clinton in November, a figure thats about 3 million more than voted for Trump. Its just that Trump won by 78,000 combined votes in three states in the Midwest that were enough to hand him the electoral college and the White House.....

I think she means her butt.
Won’t give the comPost a hit but just the snippet gave me the indication that the writer is very skeptical.
If Hillary is talking about her butt then there is no argument

Personally, I’m hoping Hillary will continue her campaign to be relevant. The more money and oxygen she sucks out of the Democrat room the better. Go Hillary go! Heck, how cool would it be for her to make another run at POTUS? Just wishing, hehheh :)
It says the number who voted for either candidate was about 28.5% each.
The rest were voting against the other candidate (not _for_ a candidate) hence the assertion is that both Trump and Clinton have a base of about 28.5% and Clinton is mistaken thinking her base is 65 million.
Its all about that base...
People vote FOR Trump and his economic nationalist agenda. Any other R candidate would have lost. Your analysis is wrong.
Add China, North Korea, Iran and other enemies into the mix and she may have more of a base.....
As of now, Verrit has 57,300 followers. Less than 1% uptake from the 65M.
All her base belong to us.

Kinda redundant since that is what all the lsm does already.
Swing it, sister!

Principled’s analysis is spot on. As much as we would LIKE it to be otherwise, this was the biggest “hold your nose” campaign ever.
We need to keep our eyes open, now more than ever. And that includes seeing the world, our country, and the political situation as it is, not as we would with it to be.
U never Trumper Cruzers are FOS. I didn’t hold my nose nor did Jim Robinson when he supported Trump. You sound like a CNN panelist. F U.
The media is tired of lying for the Clintons. They were tired in 2008 and happy to hand the nomination to Barack Hussein Obama.
Some journalists finally wagged their tongues and told tales of the Clintons during the 2008 campaign.
When 2016 rolled around all of that dissent was gone in the media. Certainly after she took the nomination from Bernie Sanders (S).
She may not run again but she wants the power to crown the next nominee. She wants to hold onto the female vote “base” as a bargaining chip. Give her something and she’ll give her endorsement.
Because there are more dead people than live people?
