Ocasio-Cortez Praises New Zealand's Weapons Ban

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez praised the leadership shown by New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on the issue of gun control in the wake of the deadly Christchurch mosque shootings by a white supremacist.

Ardern announced that, as a result of the far-right terror attack which left 50 people dead and dozens more injured, some critically, New Zealand will ban a swathe of what she called “military-style” weapons and parts that allow other guns to be converted.

Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat and rising star in the party, drew a comparison with the lack of action on gun control in America after mass shootings, such as the Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre which killed 26, of which there is an epidemic in the country.

The first part of your post is an imperative that should be acted on and quick. This woman is a clear and present danger. Her presence on Capitol Hill is no ‘’phenomenon’’. She's been put there as part of a plan. The latter half of your post is dangerous because there are now too many idiots in this country who will put her in The White House someday soon when she is eligible to run for the office. The psychiatrist for that POS Lanza Asperger monster left the country after the massacre and moved to ironically.....New Zealand. No, that’s not how it works. She currently has 3.6 million Twitter followers. Once you follow someone, their content appears in your feed. Typically it’s relegated to 240 characters so there’s usually nothing to click on unless they include some form of URL link.

The thing is, your Twitter feed isn’t static. It’s constant. So unless the person “tags” you in their tweet, which she never does, you’d have to see it in real time. Otherwise, the next time you log into Twitter it’ll be old news, supplanted by all the tweets of everyone else you follow.

As to unfollows, I’m sure she never notices. When you get to that amount of followers I doubt you care. I don’t care and I have far less for my business.
