Support for U.S. President Donald Trump increased slightly among Republicans after he lashed out on Twitter over the weekend in a racially charged attack on four minority Democratic congresswomen, a Reuters/Ipsos public opinion poll shows.
The national survey, conducted on Monday and Tuesday after Trump told the lawmakers they should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” showed his net approval among members of his Republican Party rose by 5 percentage points to 72%, compared with a similar poll that ran last week.
Trump, who is seeking re-election next year, has lost support, however, with Democrats and independents since the Sunday tweetstorm.

“... racially charged attack on four minority Democratic congresswomen....” Lame stream lie once again. PDJT made a general statement and attacked no individual at all. And no racial component was present either. Putting the D in delusional for decades.

I note the Rasmussen daily tracking poll had PDJT down at 46 percent on Monday and today he is at 50 percent. While I still wish he didn’t do this and instead let his advisors do it, the polling shows his base is consolidating around him, as most feel the exact same way.
They still do not get it. Complete lack of understanding of the American people! Its not even so much that we support what the President said as we are pissed that you the MSM have to lie about it and se anything and everything that the President says as racist! Then you(MSM) repeat that lie time after time just whipping people up! You are going to get someone killed! Just stop it. It going on 3 years now. We KNOW, you HATE President Trump! You don’t have to keep trying to convince anyone!
Good. It will get Republicans to go out and vote in 2020. dems hate him no matter what, so it will make them madder and crazier.
Trump is highly fortunate in the enemies he chooses.
Actually, he does not choose them at all. They self-select, then go off on an attack, ad hominem or for his policies that conflict with their pet projects. Trump then counter-punches, almost always with telling and lasting aftereffect. If they get up and take another swing at him, the first counter-punch was just practice. Then he gets down to business.
Trump is like a force of nature, and leaves wide demolition in his wake.
If you are going to take a shot at the king, better not miss. Even if you do manage a wound of some kind, Trump’s recuperative powers are awesome to watch.
