The area is Skyforest, you can see a home starting on fire. No firefighters there, this is on the north side of 18. Spotter aircraft went over to spot for Phos Chek tanker, it's really lit up now there.

Earlier there was a resident that said they have been trying to cut down dead trees and there were at Santa Village which if I remember correctly is below Running Springs.

That would be even more fuel for the fire if they are still there.

They will tell Arnold that the Emergency that he stated has come to pass, and that taxes MUST be increased. If he doesnt(and he wont) he will be blamed for all of the fallout from the fire.

Via CBS live shot, 5 min ago, there are FF down the 18 a couple hundred yards watering down the down slope. The fire jumped further up. Saw them running towards the jump across. It jumped real fast and too big now. Tanker supposed to dump on it any moment.

I meant to say they were taking them to Santas Village. They were having a hard time finding anyone to take them if they were too infested with the bark beetles because they would be of no use.

Are they evacuating Yucaipa or is the evacuation to there. Went to OKC with my son this afternoon to get away for awhile and get some hamburgers at the Bricktown Brewery. You guys made my hungry for hamburgers last night.

Then I log back on just now and see this evacuation order!
