I couldn't even imagine the animal flatulence in a wooden submarine.

Many more of them, live next door
And the band, begins to play

I hear people say the flood is the Straits of Gibraltar or the Istanbull Straits that led to the flood. I tend to believe one of these theories.

I am perfectly sure that the Flood actually happened and Noah's Ark existed If so, there was more than one. Another, similar incident happened in what is now Pakistan. Maybe it was just a farm family and some livestock, but apparently the ride was E-ticket.

"So, there is quite a scientific explanation to the fact why many expeditions failed to achieve success on Ararat." Yes, there is- because there never WAS an Ark. The story, like many in the Bible, is an allegory, not a literal account of historical events.

A wise man once asked me, "What is the sound of one hand clapping?"
I thought for a minute, then I slapped him across the face. That got him off my back.

The Christian faith teaches us of three arks, three containers of Infinity and Life : Noahs Ark, The Ark of the Covenant, and the Virgin Mary. The Ark of the Covenant was just a golden box but it somehow contained within it the presence of God Himself. In this it was a type of the Blessed Virgin, who also contained within her finite human body the Infinity of the Word.
So, what about the first ark, Noahs Ark? How did all those animals and their food and Noahs family fit inside a mere wooden boat? I dont know but maybe Noahs Ark was more than just a wooden boat. Maybe like the Ark of the Covenant and the ark of our Ladys womb it was bigger on the inside than on the outside, and contained all of Life within.

Too bad Noah forgot to include hundreds of thousands of species that must have drowned. He didn't follow God's command very well at all.

Ha,ha. Yes and I'll bet the large carnivorous animals got along just swell with the weaker non-carnivorous ones. Probably unfair to point out the contradictions in these bible stories.

Matthew 24:38-39 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (KJV) Yep, and some people think it will be a 'rapture'. But, it's not!!!!

I like him too, can't ignore his ideas. He's been saying the Ark was a wooden submarine.

I haven't read any of Sitchen's books, though I have always wanted to. Have you read them all? Do they go in a series or can you read them at random?

Suddenly, the whole of the place was lit with bright light. So, it must still be lit with a bright, unexplainable light, or we have to conclude that God has a relatively short attention span given the eternal nature of things.
Either that, or the report was bogus to begin with.
