This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

I know we're all getting tired, but we have to hang in there. This isn't just Terri's fight anymore. It is our fight too. To everyone who has worked tirelessly to gather information, write letters, make phone calls, spend time in prayer, be at the vigil supporting Terri's family and all the many other offerings you have given for this effort, thank you and may the Lord richly bless you.

Not to mention that in the year she supposedly made these comments about not wanting to be kept alive artifically, food and water WAS NOT considered extraordinary means. It was not considered extraordinary til 10 years after she supposedly made that comment.

Donations and cards can be sent right now to the Foundation. I believe that address is on terrisfight.org. The Foundation did the web site over. It's a wonder in itself. I believe Terri's birthday is December 4th but right now, I think cards of encouragement would be better than birthday cards.

Just my opinion because this is CRAZY FLORIDA. Terri's not in danger but all could be on pins and needles again if an activist judge rules against the family.

Well I had read somewhere that she liked to be on her side facing the window. If there was one visible from her room I though she might be able to see it. This would require a "Terri friendly" owner and advertiser to let us have the space for a day though. Maybe one of the freepers at the hospice can look around for us.

Well first we have to find out if one near and then see if we can bump someone already using it ,for a day.

I think both are good ideas ,but the media may be able to get a billboard in their stories a bit easier. Lets freepmail someone from the vigil, who is in the area to do a search and find out who would be willing to do something. I also have other contacts in that area fighting for Terri. Should I contact them with your idea?

Well, I just went thru the love letter, have seen it this once before, and it still brings me to tears. I am just awestruck with the love that flows from those words. Thanks for including it in this thread, so appropriate.

Also, Floriduh_voter, how do you know that she is not in danger now? I don't understand. Are we to trust the Hospice personnel (ie Labyuk or whatever) and MS...are the parents able to stay by her bedside around the clock? Can MS go in and lock the door, visiting her alone with noone else present? Can Felos? Is the priest now allowed to visit? Is there a guard beside her?

Please tell me, how can you say she is not in danger? Or were you just speaking of her current health prognosis?

Could we go together with other FReepers and buy a wheelchair for Terri and have it delivered to Terri? With cameras following this gesture to insure MS cannot stop it at delevery time?

Normally, I would say that is despicable behavior from a woman and gives women a bad name, but in her case I'll make an exception. If that's what she's up to, she and Michael deserve each other.
