This thread serves as a place for posting all new general information and references, along with links following Terri's case, plus information on cable news and talk radio shows dealing with the issue, court cases and press releases. This is also the place to post contact information, prayers and general discussion.

If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Many original links become corrupt over time and we want to be able to access the information at will.

You will notice that this thread is not specifically dated. That is because we are just going to keep this one going until we have need of another one.

A reminder: please do not post personal information on the public forum. We have lots of folks on scene down in Florida and we don't want them having any problems with the death squad.

Greta's credentials are impressive:

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Van Susteren received a bachelor's degree with distinction in economics. She earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law in 1979 and a Master of Law from the school in 1982. Van Susteren was the first Stuart Stiller Fellow at Georgetown Law Center and was awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree from Stetson Law School. She served as an adjunct professor at the Law Center from 1984 through 1999.

Demers' position at the BEGINNING of the unrest in Pinellas County was THAT HE WAS STAYING OUT OF IT. How times have changed. SOMEONE PERSUADED HIM TO JOIN THE DEATH SQUAD AT THE 6th Circuit. With all THESE JUDGES WITH THE LIKELIHOOD THAT THEY ARE MAKING DECISIONS ABOUT TERRI UNDER DURESS, they are not of sound mind to serve as jurists.

Now who do you suppose is threatening and intimidating each JUDGE ONE AT A TIME? GOAT BOY FELOS? You betcha.

THE SICK CIRCUIT WHERE INCOMPETENCY REIGNS SUPREME.

These psycho judges put the right to privacy above an individual's right to life.

And this all-powerful right to privacy is not based on Terri's written health care choices, but on MS's fishy, conflicting hearsay about her alleged wishes.

It's gone beyond bad law, it's INSANE. Where does it end? When did innocent American citizens become nothing more than grist for the Hemlock Society controlled judicial mills? And how do we get back our rights as long as this form of tyranny controls the courts?

I laundered my debit card today which is a pretty good reason not to have my pictures ready yet. I'll be posting the protest pictures from Jan. 7th and 8th here on the Daily Thread. Thanks, Republic for re-posting the nice words from Jim. I printed his comments for my Terri scrapbook.

Pictures are now at my web site today (tag line). Those and more will be posted here tomorrow from the Jan. 7th and 8th protests. Thirty to thirty five came out on the 7th and we had a good crowd on the 8th too. We got a break in the weather on the 8th, back to wearing flip flops instead of "real shoes".

On October 20th, this fella told me the news from his radio that Johnny Byrd was holding the special session on Monday instead of Tuesday because they received word from Hospice that Terri was in bad shape. They were going to wait until Tuesday a.m. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

I saw a couple read my "SHE IS NOT BRAIN DEAD" bumper sticker last night leaving a restarurant in Pasco.
They wrote down the www.terrisfight.org address, or my licence plate number.

I think I get more reaction to that bumper sticker than the previous one I had.

It might sound redneck whitetrash tacky, but I think we need more bumper stickers distributed.
They are so rare nowadays, that people position themselves in traffic to read them.

Terri is doing "good" (from a reliable source).

The judges on the other hand are doing badly. They're right up there with San Fran's 9th DCA - organized crime imo.

many interesting things being brought out, we'll need to see transcript --

I came in late: Michael used to take Terri's charts into Terri's room to read, would lock door (never seen these things done, why were they allowed?); she charted Terri's abilities, but those notes were ripped out; Carla talked about the insulin injections & calling in police on these happenings -- officer Bennett came to her house to take report. The next day she was called in to nursing office at Palm Garden and fired. She had court case against Palm Garden nursing home termination as a whistleblower for Terri schiavo -- said there was a newspaper reporter in the courtroom, which struck her as strange since she thought this was just a runofthemill case, as this before Terri's case really caught on . . . then Carla was getting threatening notes on her car ("you'd better invest in a cemetary plot"), harrassing phone calls, tires slashed (which she did file police reports on), thought she was being followed, strange things happening. . .

. . .a car accident killed one nurse witness . . . another witness with "health issues" got admitted to Woodside Hospice at about the same time Terri did, later DIED.

end: saying Terri doesn't need skilled nursing care -- all are wanting her to have her freedom.

Better go get some shut-eye so I can think again tomorrow! I'll be checking back in later. Please ping me if there is any news about Terri.
