Oreilly V. DRUDGE: On the Factor tonight...
Oreilly Factor | Bill's Mouth

Posted on 12/17/2003 5:48:29 PM PST by jbstrick

What is Bill's problem with Matt tonight?

For those who did not watch the Factor tonight. Bill was compairing Matt to Michael Moore, etc. and basicly said you can not believe a thing on their web sites.

Its a Big Time Drudge bash fest. I guess he is a little PO'd because his book is not doing to well and Matt posted the results.

The DNC will keep buying Hillary's books and drive him up a wall.

I think you have really hit the true credibility problem. Actual books purchased by ordinary citizens should be the true indicator. As it is, it can be manipulated silly for sure.

My thoughts are the same as always.

Mr. O has his liberal populist screw loose because he has no friggin idea what is on the drudge site or any conservative site for that matter.

Plus, he pandered to his guests by attacking conservative sites when the subject was Michael Moore and Payne.com.

I changed the channel as usual.

Have you noticed that all O'Reilly does anymore is shill his books or his items? Is it just me, but it seems he talks about his crap for sale about 70% of the time

Except for Hannity. Hannity can't connect three thought together before he stutters, changes the subject; and speaks in the poorest grammar I've ever heard.

My 12 and 15 year old children constantly correct Sean's grammar.

I always think of the time that Drudge had the pic of the baby in the womb holding the surgons finger.

His boss told him if he showed it on the TV he'd be out of a job.

He did it anyway.

Drudge is a new media HERO.

O'Reilly is a bitter old man whom I can live without...

O'Reilly has become a character of himself, his arm must get tired from constant patting of his own back. What I love is how Boortz gets his goat, he really pisses off O'Reilly!

Bill has his faults. However, he is one of the very few to dare to challenge Rev. Jesse Jackson. And he has gone after the corrupt lawyer Feldman and the ACLU.

One of Bill's core beliefs is that child porn is evil and he has attacked the ACLU for its support of child molesters. And Bill is often interesting, certainly far better than Paula Zahn with her ever present "deer in the headlights" stare.

Yes he does Monday-Friday at 6 pm. Oh by the way, don't forget Sean's 'Santa show'. I forget when it is but Mark Levin plays Santa and takes children's phone calls.

Rate Drudge by his overall accuracy, and his score is pretty low.

Ok, I'll bite: aside from the purposeful bad data the x42 WH gave him on Blumenthal, where has Matt been wrong?

The biggest turnoff I've had with Bill is when he had Barbara Walters on his show. He was telling her how nervous he was in her presence and gushing like a schoolgirl about the great achievements in her career. Kinda made him look like a journalistic hack who had finally met his idol. Sickening. On the other hand , I do love it when he bitchslaps someone who truly deserves it.He's a fair weather friend.

LOL. it is funny watching these guys verbally bitch slap each other. Although I gotta say I think Drudge gets to O'Reilly waaaaaaaay more than O'Reilly gets to Drudge.

You make a good point. Listen O'Reilly's message and not his method of delivery. The same holds true for Rush. If we get down to personalities we start to look like cannibals(or worse yet, like Dean's fellow Democrats going after Dean).

For the most part these guys are right. They all have faults, but it is less than helpful to focus on the faults and ignore the bigger picture.

Certainly we do not have to be sycophants of all " right wing" pundits when the problems is not with the message, but with the style.

Bill O'Reilly's basic message is usually correct, but Bill O'Reilly is somewhat of an ass. Perhaps, to a lesser extent the same thing can be said of Rush, or of me, or of you, or of anyone, except for hardcore Democrats (note I did not say "hardcore liberals"). Hardcord Democrats are always and everywhere, not only asses, but either dumb-asses or crooked asses.

We on the right need to look for ways to make make peace with others who are at least 95% on our side, but who may be a little more strident than some of us are. After all, Bill Clinton won by being demonstratively wrong on a large number of issues, but by being strident in his rhetoric.

Consider this: Is it better to by correct and polite and lose or to be correct, a little (or a lot) brash, and win. This looks to me like the choice we face.

He`s bashing Drudge because this morning Drudge put up this thing (written by Drudge) that said Bill O is a liar saying his new book is selling as much as Hitlerys, when it is in fact number 6. Hitlerys is number 2, which is fitting number for her.
