"..........and if you can't be sure that you will end the day alive as you began it, then a balanced budget, a sound imigration policy, all are meaningless."

Meaningless, as would also be education, jobs, gun rights, strong economy, good medical care, the right to life, the constitution.....just about everything we care about. We can't be assured that there will be no more terrorist attacks (or that we'll end the day alive), but I believe President Bush is taking the security of the U S and her people seriously. I have no such belief in ANY of the alternative candidates.

I like your thoughts and just had to comment. We were driven to our vulnerable state (economy and security) by X42 and his administration. I'm just thankful President Bush is willing to continue to try to unravel the mess.

When you sober up could you decypher your remarks a bit please? The UN is not the world government we need to be worrying about, it's a bad joke. How is not worrying about it equal to boot licking?

"After last nights speech I decided to vote for the constitution party in November

Budgetary issues are at the bottom of the totem pole in issues that I think really matter to the future of America.

By putting on a display of wholesome and correct morals, GWB can and will do more for this country than any budgetary issue could ever accomplish.

Without a fundamental sense of right and wrong, along with honesty and care for your fellow man, this country would go down the tubes faster than a bordello minute.

All the balanced budgets in the world will not make my children and grandchildren grow up any happier.

However, having a leader they can look up to and respect as a moral man WILL make them into stronger citizens who love and respect God and their country.

Thanks for posting this. The deficit chart is rather ironic, but revealing.

Yeah, if GWB is bad, Reagan must have been the worst President ever. I love the logic of the FRinge.

For a brief, quick list, George W. Bush has been very much a conservative in his:

Good List ... and he did that all in only 3 years of being in office

The sad thing is, some would say he should have done more in less time

That's a great quote by JimRob, isn't it?

I equate these third party voters, to people who during World War II, argued that we should not waste our time fighting the German Army, but instead, should mount a full frontal attack on Berlin.

When asked how to get our troops there, past the Vermacht, they failed to give a coherent answer.

In sales, your goal is to first remove the competition, because then, and only then, do you control the sales environment. In politics, you defeat the enemy, then you are at liberty to promote the more difficult changes in America's political landscape.

I believe that there are a couple of things going in in FR these days, one is the presence of people with a less than above the board reason for their posts, and the other is a whole lot of political naivety.

You want to worry? Read Orwell's 1984. No nations (or united nations) just 3 large regional blocs. If you read my other posts on this thread you can see from real life facts that is where we are headed.

Realisticly my vote does not matter. I live in TX if GWB is in danger of losing TX he has lost to many other states to win anyway. I just will not support someone who has push for the amount of big government spending and liberal crud he has.

I have one point I wish for you to consider, if you would be so kind. If a dem spent money they it has been spent in the past few years, if a dem sign the pill bill, if a dem affected our constitutional rights the way finance reform and the patriot act have (I am very skeptical of any attack on my rights for any reason.), if a dem proposed the amnesty, if a dem says that he sign an extention to the assault weapons ban, if a dem grew the size of government the way this President has we would all be howling mad and marching on Washington with torches.

I am not saying that GWB does not have many positives, he does but to me his negative now out weight them. If he, for example, would drop the amnesty and cut spending I would be happy to reevaluate him. I am not naive enough to think I can ever get all I want from a politicain in terms of his views, but now the issues he is for that I oppose are more to me then those I agree with him.

You would be the first one to bitch and complain that you can't make a living because you destroyed the evil "corporation" you work for.
With your attitude, I doubt you could make it as an entrepreneur?

You must have me confused with someone else. I have no earthly idea what you're talking about.
