Jim, I just read the Conde Nast Letter to FR requesting us not to exerpt or publish from their publications. I hope this is addressed. In the meantime it does not say I cannot link to an article for discussion and I think this is an importnat enough article to discuss and for interested freepers to see. If I am wrong in linking, I apologize, and pull the thread.

Moron. His screech isn't readable, it's so full of hatred and vindictive.

RE:

"As mankind will find out soon enough.... "

I hear ye, js.

It's all lining up according to the Prophetic Plan, isn't it?

And it's going t be quite a blessing to be able to rejoice and welcome them, while all too many of our fellow Human Beings will be greeting the Holy Ones with the most profound and abject terror that a mortal Soul can possibly experience, imediately prior to their introduction to the Lake of Fire.

Now I'm no profound Theologan, but I have the distinct sense that there is to be a tremendous "Gathering In" immediately prior to the Rapture.

Could this be it?

Stay tuned.....

These people of the secular world just don't get it!

There really is a great divide about faith in this Country. People who don't see this faith filled movie as it is, have come to the movie with a completely different set of values.

Case in point; The Wisconsin State Journal this morning said although the film shows the suffering of Jesus, it doesn't show his compassion.

That is just stunning!

I also heard that a Jewish group was going to protest this movie this afternoon, wearing Concentration Camp outfits!

And their point is?...

BTW...The protest of this particular Jewish group was going to take place at one of the movie theaters in New York City!

I cry whenever I think about the love God has for us, love so uncomprehensible to we mere mortals, that He gave us His only Son, to be born into mankind, only to suffer a terrible terrible , all for us to be able to join Him in Heaven....

What an extraordinarily beautiful post. I so agree with all that you posted.

Agreed!. It's called 'agape' love which means sacrificial...and not 'brotherly', or 'romantic', or 'erotic' but "life-laying-down-love-into-death" love.

Uncomprehensible is right. Especially when you consider that Almighty God could have, if He chose to, wiped out the entire worlld and the human race and started all over again.

So, for that and because he conceived me in His heart and mind before the foundation of the world, then designed and built me 'feafully and wonderfully', He has all that I am and all that I have dedicated, committed, submitted and surrendered to Him for eternity.

"Ya know, it's funny those liberals. Will argue that there's no connection between video games or movies and violence, then claim a movie might actually provoke action. Almost sounds like they play both sides of the fence depending on the issue."

It is 'cuz they is so smart and we is so stoopid.

I am grinning ear to ear because a LOT of people are now going to see through them as never before. I am VERY glad they underestimated us. Bring it on!

"It looks to me like the smears about anti-semitism haven't worked, so now many film critics are going to attack this film for it's violent content. Suddenly, critics discover a violent film they don't like."

They kept throwing stuff at the wall, seeing what would stick. First, it was anti-semitic. Then, Mel's sanity, heritage,'fringe' beliefs, and motivation were 'suspicious'. Then, it was too violent. Then, it wasn't historically accurate. Then, it was being marketed in some nefarious, under-handed way. Then, it didn't focus enough on other parts of Christ's life. Then, Mel is making money off Christ's crucifixion.
The most current anti-Christian spin: Huge box office receipts are due to churches buying huge quantities of tickets and going to see it over and over.

I pity them. They are lost souls--- hopefully they can stop lying and realize that there is transcendent truth that trumps any and all agendas ("....and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.")
