Fox News reports what Freeper Ambrose Uncovered (Re:NYT fake sources)
Foxnews ^ | 25 Feb 2004 | Fox News

Posted on 02/25/2004 3:41:55 PM PST by Rokke

Tonight on the Grapevine, Foxnews discussed CBS News reporting on the "massive" conservative revolt against Bush, despite their own polling results which showed Bush with overwhelming Republican support. The question was then asked, "Where did CBS get the idea the conservatives were rebelling? The answer...from the New York Times." They then went on to discuss Ambrose's (they didn't credit him unfortunately) discovery that the NYT's used the same source calling him first a Republican and then two weeks later an independent to support their claim that conservatives were ditching Bush.

Nice job Ambrose. You didn't get the credit on Foxnews, but we know where the best investigative reporting comes from.

What rebellion?
As far as I know, we're a great team.
Brainstorming to solve problems is the opposite of Democrat dictatorship. It's good everyone has their own ideas. Bush, a good commander and chief, makes sure he has all options and opinions on the table before him. Only an idiot wouldn't!

As I always say - "Two heads are more numerous than one." (heh heh)

LOL!! Good stuff. Congrats to Ambrose.

Yeah I guess the "paper of record" doesn't have a certain tone or agenda in which they're trying to set. . .

"What rebellion?"

Exactly. NYT had to go to academia to find a bush voter who is now voting for kerry. Meanwhile, the opposite(gore voters who are now for Bush) can be found in millions, all over the nation, including high profile figures such as Senators, Congressman, Mayors, etc...
So why no talk abou the "Democrat rebellion"?

Bush hasn't alienated his base. Yet. But many people are teetering.

I saw Brit Hume report a Fox News poll last week which clearly showed that Rats approved Bush's performance on the economy and medicare much more than Republicans.

Nah, they just had their heads up their a$$e$ like the Bushbots here on FR. Conservatives probably won't rebel unless Bush weasels through the AWB--they may be predisposed not to show up now, but if he votes that down, they'll stay away from the polls in droves.

Not that CinFla would bolt regardless. He'd be still be drinking the KoolAid if Bush took Hillary as his running mate.

"What, you want to let KERRY in? C'mon, Hillary/Bush, er, Bush/Hillary 2004!"
