Integration has failed in our schools. It was meant to raise the educational standards of the blacks and only has lowered the standards of the white kids ,who invariable imitate the blacks.

Worse than this, in the 1960s, black Americans gained full civil rights, only to be also granted welfare by the government and normalization of illegitimacy by the 'new morality. The result? The black underclass grew while the black family all but disappeared. Black illegitimacy became the norm (over 60% of all births), leading to all the resultant social pathologies, but society could withstand that because blacks made up only 10-12% of the population.

Since, though, the greater acceptability of illegitimacy has been raising the level of illegitimacy in the white community.

Writing a paragraph, to say nothing of a full book, without that fifth symbol of Roman script is all too difficult. Its grammar must not only conform to standard, but its syntax must also flow smoothly.

An author will soon find it hard to find words to say what is in his mind, and must think and look long and hard to find such words. What was said by a solitary word, a string of circumlocutions must now say.

Writing with such a limitation will tax any author's ability. Though I try to do so, I will not claim that my work is fully right, for any man with a sharp mind may spot a typo in this work that would bring that claim down.

Here! Here! I only felt sad to see a father and husband always played as the buffoon on his show. It was painful to watch. But at least he had alot of values that make the show look saintly compared to what you see today....

First of all, slang and cussing and all that didn't start with black people. Second of all, you assume that the mere presence of black children in schools is responsible for bringing down white children. I absolutely disagree.

It's because the fathers have been taken out of the home. Fathers are such a powerful stabilizing force in family. Even a bad father is better than no father.

EBONICS? In all seriousness, alot of these white kids work hard to emulate this type of speech. For instance....look at the white rapper Vanilla Ice. When he first became famous, he spoke as if he grew up in the hood. Two years ago, I saw an interview with him, and he sounded nothing like he did when he was a rapper. In other words, his speech was fake and he finally grew up.

My ex husband's mother was of Native American heritage, but I didn't know until I was pregnant with my second baby. No one talked about it, like it was some deep, dark secret.

They moved here from Illinois when she was a girl. She used to snarl about "church going witches". Her sister looked like Chief Sitting Bull. Tall, skinny, straight hair, and chiseled features. Wouldn't put up with anyone's crap, either.

I was talking to my ex brother in law recently, and the subject came up. The word my former MIL used for the name of the tribe they came from is unpronounceable to me, and my ex BIL laughed and said they're Iroquois. Noooo, they couldn't have come from a peaceful tribe. They had to come from a nation of asskickers! This explains their tempers. I always thought it was some little nondescript tribe that did basketweaving. No offense meant.

When my youngest was born, I said to myself, "there's my little Indian princess". She has the facial features and violet eyes. Be proud of who you are. I love my babies no matter what side of the family they take after.

She thought she was right,that I was not quite truly human, and my tainted blood doomed me to hell, if I even had a soul.
It was not solely a matter of harsh words, and private prejudices.
Most of her generation actually believed that those who were not white, were not really fully human.They acted on those beliefs in ways that many today would prefer to forget, but actual history is not really subject to debate, and God help us all if we ever forget.
As I said, I am only 45 years old.
15 years ago a friend of mine witnessed tribal Indians denied a drink of water at a white-owned gas station in New Mexico.
She was horrified and bought bottled water and chased the men down to give it to them.Until that day, even though she had known me all my life, she had never really grasped the concept of racial hatred, since she had never seen it in action.She had heard tales, but until that day, she had not seen or understood the true pervasive reality of racism.
She also thought I was probably just exaggerating my feelings regarding "grandma", since she had not actually seen anti-Indian racial hatred in action, until that day.After all, the Indian wars were soo long ago....
It really is not all that long ago, and still happens to this day to many USA citizens.
Just because nowadays most people don't feel or act that way, does not mean it has been entirely stamped out.
