Bassist Michael Anthony, except for a few extra pounds, looks like he always has. He's the one with the magic painting that ages for him.

Well they are baby boomers

Sammy Hagar born Oct. 13, 1947
Alexander Arthur Van Halen born May 8, 1953
Michael Anthony born June 20, 1954
David Lee Roth born October 10th 1954
Eddie Van Halen born January 26, 1955

But they were a band gen-x followed so why not

Thanks for the ping

I grew up listening to this band. I just wish I wasn't too young to catch the original lineup back in the early 80's.

Lucky person you, that's the first date of their tour. 2004 Van Halen Tour dates. I'm hitting Ozzfest with Black Sabbath and Judas Priest (Walkers of DOOM!)

Back in the day...

You remember the phrase: "I hope I die before I get old?" It serves to prove how silly it sounded. Many of these guys play at the top of the game ... and they are old. We maybe had a lot to learn, eh?

As goofy as DLR looks in this picture (and even goofier is the sock) he still has a great body for a 70 year old. ;o)

LOL

That's brutal.

As a bass player (there's no such thing as an "ex bass player"), I must concur with your observation regarding their steadiness.
