"Heavy" means "fat", right?

I think people's conception of "fat" or "heavy" is pretty darn subjective, but I think most of us can agree on one thing. The fashion industry/the media's sense of what a "healthy" woman should look like is often unhealthy. Give me a woman who actually looks feminine, not like a cocaine addict! Here's an example:

Kate Dillon - I think she's attractive.

Nonsense. Except for a (very) small number of people with hormonal imbalances, being fat is a choice people make. It's the path of least resistance.

Time for:

How do you know that you are dating a fat chick?

1) She weighs more then you, and you played right tackle back in high school.

2) When you go to bed at night your side of the bed requires a step ladder to reach.

3) Your car's front end is constantly out of alignment and pulls right.

4) You have to buy three movie tickets for you and her when you go out.

5) No one messes with you at the bar, lest they have to deal with your body guard.

6) She is invited to speak at the Lane Bryant company sales meeting.

7) The restaurant down the street with the All You Can Eat buffet sent a No Trespass order to your house.

Any more?????

And the obsessive American war on fat is also decimating the American family because women are afraid to "disfigure" their bodies with pregnancies and post-partum pounds.

I would like to see some statistics on this. Seems like a leap. Having babies does not make one fat. Eating too much and not burning off the calories makes one fat.

Could it be that it is because being obese is unhealthy and leaves children without out parents that die in their 40's and 50's?

Being fat is unhealthy....

I wasn't aware there was a war against fat people. Did I miss something. I'm not exactly attracted to a waste I can't see for the folds; but, then I don't consider that being at war - save maybe a war of the senses. Shuddering.
Me, I'm an individual, and I happen to like the average 5'6" cuddly brunette with big brown eyes. If I'm gonna throw my back out picking someone up to cross the threshold and possibly break something in the crossing, I don't see that as a match made in heaven but rather a mission impossible.. as in ain't gonna likely happen.

I'm small and thin and have trouble keeping weight on. So I can sympathize; but, let's get real. Ok.

Of course she's "down-to-earth."

You have any idea how much thrust it would take for her to achieve lift-off?

Mrs. Edwards' weight is not offensive to me as much as trying to have children late in life while her husband goes around suing doctors that, among other things, try to help women have children late in life.

If she values life so much as to (allegedly) become grotesquely overweight from it, why does she live with a man who values life so little as to vote against the ban on partial-birth abortion?

Hey! We're at war with porkers? Who knew. If we are, I'd say they're winning from my casual observations at Wal-Mart.

This article is just another whine piece. Who cares what Edward's wife looks like? Guys always complain about the frequency of sex, I think they have to comply with some kind of federal regulation. If your marriage is destroyed by real or perceived porker-ness, you didn't have much of a marriage anyway.

We should have won the war on fat chicks by now.

I mean, not like you have to lead them much.

I watched her interview with Larry King. She was uninformed, aloof, and talked down to Larry, all while being wrong on every point. Stupid, arrogant and fat is no way to go thru life. Go eat a cow and shut up.

I often wonder what eve looked like? Most people have Adam and Eve looking like Barbie and Ken?

Was Eve White, Black, hispanic, Indian Asian? Of course most people have protrayed Biblical Characters as Adam and Eve and Jesus as Caucasion Blond light eyed creatures

When I was young I thought how special it was for all the Biblical Characters to look like me :-)

Of course I know that is not true, but American Culture has taught for thousand of years many bigoted views on most everything, will we ever learn? proably not....

< Stating the obvious >Could it be... that inspite of the constant effluent that flows from Hollywood and the advertising world -- a bastion of homosexuals, that insists that women who look like boney emaciated 17 year old boys are supposedly sexy, isn't true ? < / Stating the obvious >

My own personal preferences in a woman's physical appearance are; feminine, soft and curvey are attractive. Kate Dillon in #6, I consider attractive. Portly, rolly and morbidly obese are unattractive.
