Liberal Meltdown in America: Flip-Offs, Road Rage & Violence by Kerry-ites (Your Experiences?)
AmericanInTokyo ^ | 29 August 2004 | AmericanInTokyo

There appears to have been a major shift in the last month in the U.S. presidential campaign from KERRY-IN-THE-LEAD to BUSH-IN-THE-LEAD.

And this, before the GOP Convention has really gotten underway.

It seems that Kerry supporters and Bush haters are becoming increasingly strident, stressed, psycopathic and perhaps even violent in some cases. Have you personally noticed this in your town and community?

.....Because of TeRAYyza's very public meltdown, the SwiftBoatVets, Unfit for Command's booming national sales, devastating Swiftee TV ads in battlegrounds states, and the Kerry slip in the polls?

Consider:

--A young Bush campaign supporter was sucker-punched yesterday at a Washington State political event by a Kerry supporter--right on national TV.

--Freepers report Kerry-ite "flip- offs" in traffic(middle finger salutes), increasingly desperate and irate liberal emotions, foul language, verbal abuse when they peacefully display pro-Swift Boat vet or anti-Kerry stickers on their cars.

--The national TV reporters and commentators who side with Kerry seem almost apoplectic on TV these days, babbling, whining, salivating and doing everything short of cursing or throwing ashtrays.

On this FR thread, kindly please related your own personal experience on cases of strange behavior by libs and Kerry supporters that you come across. It would help to know the "what", "when", "where" and "why", too. Perhaps there is a national sickness developing in over in the Hate Bush camp, as they see their lead evaporate and their chances of capturing the White House fade. They seem to have only have nasty, threatening and sometimes violent means to turn to now. Would you agree?

Driving in an East Coast area recently, with only a simple photcopied/expanded book cover of Unfit for Command attached in my rear window (with no other political commentary), (in the last week or so), I've received at least four fastidious "middle finger salutes", and a number of folks moving up real close to read the message, first squinting, then recoiling in abject horror, and finally cursing or otherwise acting very, very stressed out and unable to "cope". One particularly dangerous situation occurred Thursday morning when a guy in a pickup truck (if you can imagine that) with TWO Kerry stickers, tailgated for nearly three miles, ran parallel, then cut in front forcing me to use my brakes. I had used all defensive tactics and ignored him completely...yet still this leftist, childish behavior. Had I been following closer there would have been a collision.

(I play it smart and take the UNFIT FOR COMMAND poster off when I park to avoid the dreaded Liberal, Diverrrrrrsity "Key Scratch".)

Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. How about anyone else out there in the last few days and weeks. Notice the Kerry-ites 'snapping'?

Yep, a-hole cut me off in traffic this morning. Now that you mention it, I bet it was a damned Kerry supporter!

I heard on local radio today that 2 persons were arrested in New Hampshire (not far from me) for throwing eggs at President's Bush's motorcade.

I never put bumper stickers on cars. Ever. Frankly, I think it's silly, as if anyone driving needs to know anything but "GET OUT OF MY WAY, IDIOT!"

;-)

But I've been considering some kind of liberal-burner like "Thanks DNC for Forcing Me to Vote Bush" or something like that that is recriminating here in the berkeley of Texas.

But how to defend my property when I'm away from my vehicle? I would sit on my hood all day in the parking lot, and I know no lilly livered commie would mess with it, but step away, and the left-fascists will play....what's the solution to this problem besides, like above, removing your sticker when you leave the car?

I drive a Ford Expedition (evil gas guzzling machine that it is) and I have several bumper stickers...
"your life is not my fault"
"marriage= man + woman"
"annoy a liberal, work hard and be happy"
"if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything"
I have never had a problem until recently when a woman driver literally tried to drive me off the road. She tailgated for awhile and then drove into the oncoming lane and "nudged" me into the breakdown lane. I have never been so scared but it obviously shows that the liberals have gone over the edge.

Thanks for the report. I think getting reports from around the country may reflect some interesting things going on in those folks' noggins. I really think it is "couch time" for a lot of them...course being a liberal in the first place is already akin to a mental illness. That has been demonstrated by Rush, Hannity, Savage and many others.

(Your Experiences?)

I live in Alabama.....The most Republican county of a VERY Republican state. I was at a pool party over the weekend. A neighbor came over to the party wearing a John Kerry cap. (His yard had the ONLY Kerry/Edwards yard sign I have ever seen.)

I said to him, "So you're the guy."
He looked puzzled.
I said, "I heard that there was a Kerry supported in Alabama, and I was wondering who it was"

A few weeks ago I was cut off in traffic by a lady (with kids in the car, no less) who screamed something pretty vile at me through her window as she zipped past. Am pretty sure it had something to do with the two "Bush/Cheney '04" stickers plastered on my fuel-efficient environmentally-friendly Honda Civic.

Easy solution, thanks to dougfromupland, bumper sticker extraordinaire . . .

Buy magnetic laminated sheets, cut to size, print your bumper sticker out on the computer (or just stick it to the laminated sheet!) and stick it to your car.

When you park, peel it off and put it under the seat.

Problem solved!

(Thanks, Doug! I work in downtown Atlanta!)

That is when I feel pretty good knowing that I have my Concealed Carry permit (and I always carry) but I would probably use my Bear Repellant spray first. That stuff works pretty damn good, and at a good distance too. Yes, I have had to use it before so I have first hand experience.

Thats why folks have been affixing political things on the INSIDE OF VEHICLES, with double backed tape or suction cups, and then removing those puppies once in a parking lot, where one's chances of getting "keyed" by the Brown Shirts increases.

Bottom line. This is America. We have free speech rights. They can't be allowed to shut us up, and then go around town in their own cars with all kinds of lib and anti-Bush stickers!

Well, I didn't experience this personally, but I was watching the NWCN (North West Cable News) last week. Kerry was in Tacoma, WA for a stop and there was a Bush support amongst all those Kerry supporters outside the dome. Out of nowhere, one of the Kerry guys punches the Bush guy! A cop promptly shows up and arrests the Kerry guy. The news show also said he had been charged with a misdeamor assault charge. No word as to what actually sparked the "peace-loving" democrat to a fighting rage.

I live with two bush haters,my in-laws,old,angry ,hateful, bitter shriveled up raisins who have spewed irrational ,vitriolic, bizarre, nasty statements at my hubby and I for the past few years but have really been piling it on something terrible the past few weeks.
I threw such a grand Mal fit at them over Iraq a couple of months ago that they wont talk to me but what is necessary, now my husband has became the target of the ugliness.
i said he needed to have as a big hissy fit right back at them so they would shut up like I did since debating the issue will not work with the insane.
whats awful is this: they used to be normal regular people so iam convinced that the space ship that hides out behind the moon according to one of George norey's guests/Sarcasm, took my in-laws and replaced them with these POD people.
I now have a feeling what it was like for families right before the civil war broke out. and its sad and frightening.
And no we cant move away from them they moved in with us a week before 9/11 due to health problems and this has been life with the pod people ever since then.

No bad experiences-but have seen A LOT of tacky, tasteless bumper stickers; i.e. Re-Elect Gore, etc.
