Greenspan has made positive comments about the economy this morning, Martha is reporting on Fox. Cites housing starts and employment.

Andrea Mitchell is figuring out how to put something in Alan's tea, no doubt.

Bush should issue a press release: "I'd like to express this in a way that John Kerry is mature enough to understand. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names can never hurt me." (and then stick his tongue out)

Michael Whouley or Wholey.

No wonder your skin is crawling. He was the original mastermind of Gore's Florida challenge in 2000. A real creep.
If you still have a copy of "At Any Cost" by Bill Sammon, look him up in the index.

The media will congratulate Kerry on addressing economic issues where America wants answers most, according to a recent MSNBC poll. It's the economy again, folks, not the WOT. Back to the Clinton playbook. While terror reigns.

Peggy Noonan was on with Sean Hannity (talk radio) and she said that the first thing Bill Weld told Bush when he called him about debating Kerry in the past was that Kerry will lie and make things up during the debates. That's why he's a good debator because he says things that are so false that the moderators are embarrassed to call him out on it. Since the moderators are all libs, don't be surprised if it happens again. No wonder why GWB only wants two debates. He's not stupid. According to Noonan, Weld said W would have to make sure his jaw doesn't drop when he debates Kerry when he hears all the lies Kerry makes up on the spot. Amazing, right?

LIAR!!

Last night I heard Susan Estrich mention a new campaign position - someone to mind the candidate - Kerry.

John Sossa is travelling with Kerry. Kerry knows Sossa from way back, so is comfortable confiding, etc. Kerry is not as trusting of Lockhart, Begalla, or Carville.

OK Just watched a Bit of the speech, please someone help me here.

Did I just hear Kerry Flip Flop on the Gulf War?

He now thinks we should run the Iraq War like we ran the Gulf War?

Someone help me out here.

He voted Against the Gulf War and voted for the Iraq War but he now thinks he was WRONG on both positions?

Would not this be a DOUBLE FLIP FLOP?

If there was a Gold Medal for Verbal Gymnastics Kerry would score a perfect Ten everytime!

THe report I heard was that the middle "debate" was supposed to be a town hall style with self-reported "undecideds" asking the questions. They were afraid of a stacked deck of liberals claiming to be undecided.

Anyone else notice that according to the MSM, Kerry is always "blasting" Bush, but Bush is always "bashing" Kerry?

I remember watching BrokeJaw on election night 2000 and it is seared, seared into my memory that any time a state went to Gore that Gore had "taken" another state, while any time one went to Bush it had "fallen" to him.

I saw it...she was talking about Sasso. Sunday's Washington Post said Sasso is moving from the DNC to the Kerry campaign and will be ON THE PLANE with the candidate. That's Sasso's role...to keep the candidate on message and tell him when he screws up.

Whouley is going to the DNC. He's the micro-electorate guy who studies entrails or something and tells them which precincts need more volunteers, more $$$, etc.

Only problem with that is that the real economic news was announced by Alan Greenspan today, and it is good. I think Americans trust Alan Greenspan a whole lot more than his wife in reporting about the economy. We can win on the economy too.

I also heard that Sasso was the dirty trickster. I think he is the one who put out the hit on Eagleton.

Here's the exact quote: "I would have given the inspectors the time they needed before rushing to war. I would have built a genuine coalition of allies and made sure that every soldier that was put in harm's way actually had the equipment and the body armor that they needed."

Precious. And I know you know this, but contrast it with this:

Doyle McManus (LA Times): "If that amendment does not pass, will you then vote against the $87 billion?"

Kerry: "I don't think any United States senator is going to abandon our troops and recklessly leave Iraq to – to whatever follows as a result of simply cutting and running. That's irresponsible." ("Face the Nation," CBS, 9/14/03)

Sasso was the Dukakis campaign manager during the Dem primaries in '88. He distributed the tapes of Joe Biden's plagiarism...actually handed the press the tapes. When he denied it, then got caught, Dukakis had no choice but to fire him.

I'm sure it's not the only dirty trick he ever carried out, but it's the most memorable. I don't know if he was in on the Eagleton hit, but I kind of doubt it. He's a Massachussets guy and I don't think he was on the national scene until '88.

Sasso outed Biden as a plagiarizer, then lied to Dukakis about being the leak. When Dukakis found out Sasso was lying, he fired him, and Susan Estrich took over as campaign manager.

What has Sasso been doing for the past 16 years?

Yes! He's been hired to ride on the bus/plane with Kerry to manage his behavior/reactions. We've only seen the start of daily Bush bashing - they are going on full attack.
