Is the UN complex even in the United States? From a legal perspective, most Indian reservations are not in the state where they are geographically located. They issue their own license plates, they aren't subject to the state's gambling laws, fish and game laws, etc.
As would be expected, first in line are all the gangsters, muggers, drug dealers, thiefs, burglars, terrorists, bank robbers, and other workers of mayhem who have been unable to ply their trade because of the unavailability of the tools of their trade.
Violence Policy Center pollsters garbed in ballistic jackets and groin protectors have been dispatched to several of the larger gun shops in urban areas hoping to witness the expected mayhem. Clipboards in hand, the pollsters spent several hours going up and down the lines interviewing potential gun-buyers.
'Sir, would you mind answering a few questions for our poll today,' a pollster meekly asked a heavy-set biker who was wearing an empty bandolier stapled across his forehead..
'Shoot!', the biker ejaculated.
'Thank you,' replied the pollster. 'My first question is, "When you were a child, did your parents beat you with a 2x4?'
'. . . Uhhhh.... no, but me mudder put crankcase oil in me baby bottle.'
'How sad! Would you mind explaining why you want to buy an assault weapon?'
'No problem. I wore out the four of them which I had and besides that, they didn't look ugly enough. My bro's just laughed at me when I pulled one out and waved it around. That made me mad.'
'Do you plan to buy any magazines?'
'Naw. I don't buy stuff like that. We got plenty of catalogues layin' around the club anyway.'
'No, I meant those ugly magazines'
'Oh, you mean, like 'Hustler?' Nope. Don't need to. Larry sends us the old ones.'
'Never mind. Just one last question. Do you think the aquisition and proliferation of these atrocious things will increase the mortality and morbitity rates in your neighborhood?'
'Not a chance. We don't allow those kind of guys on our turf.'
Now we are fighting back.
