BOR set it up this way on purpose. It's a great programming strategy .. the only problem is .. those people who are voting for the President will no longer watch BOR. I hope he considered that fact when he decided on taking this path.
Bush is one man who has grown in office (unlike Carter who withered for example). Kerry needs to get Bush flustered and off his game in the debates. That I suspect will be no easy task.

The fact is that if we get tough, then those who come legally through the border crossings and pay the fees, will rat out the illegals IMHO...Further we should get rid of the black market by abolishing the income tax...and instituting a national sales tax...That will level the playing field and destroy the incentive to use paperless workers.

I heard the President explain his plan once, and I thought it sounded rather like a common sense approach.
Of course, the dems don't like it because they didn't think of it .. and they want the illegals to be given citizenship so the dems can get the votes.

The best part about Bush right now is that HE is satisfied that HE is conducting this mission (the WOT) in the manner he KNOWS is best. He is relaxed, he is calm. He exhibits inner-strength...almost a "peace" with himself. I would bet that when his head hits the pillow, he sleeps soundly.

Do you guys remember the little Mexican boy that was killed by a Marine, or a Marine reserve, who was on the border several years ago? I do, and I am sure the Prez does, and does not want something like that to happen again. That caused a huge stink in the media and sure didn't help the border situation!
