A new Strategic Vision poll yet to be released will show Bush within one point of Kerry in New Jersey, 44% - 43%.
WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With a whole host of undecideds there....
Time for some 527 and RNC money to be spent there...
Jersey is in play!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even if Bush is even with Kerry in NJ on election day, he won't be able to overcome the fraud that NJ is famous for.
I don't expect to see NJ as a red state on Nov. 3.
I do ....Rokke does....we see the yard signs.
no, it's not posted on the new Strategic Vision website yet. This person is reliable in posting polls that have yet to be released. When Strategic Vision updates their website I'll provide an active link. In any event, I would suggest the RNC send Rudy Giuliani out to NJ to start campaigning.
I've posted my Virginia/New Jersey test elsewhere on FReep.
My test goes like this: if Virginia is in the running, President Bush is toast. If New Jersey is in the running, Sen. Kerry is.
In the past, I haven't believed that either state was seriously in the running. This poll wants me want to re-think that.
No I don't know live in Jersey.
Still, I think it is highly unlikely that Bush will win that state...
So seeing one poll amongst others that shows it close doesn't inspire any sense of celebration in me...
I live in northern NJ. The same Northern NJ where in 2000 the Gore/Lieberman lawn signs far outnumbered Bush/Cheney signs. Now my drive through Essex and Bergen County reveals an almost opposite signal...the Bush/Cheney signs are all over the place. I seriously think if Bush can pull even in Northern NJ, he has a chance of carrying the state.
Bush is so inspiring,,he makes just about anything seem "possible." His beautiful and articulate wife is equally inspirational in her own way.
Go W!
This excerpts was posted here yesterday and I thought it was very revealing and to the point!! :)
"It's a brilliant move," Nick Acocella, publisher of Politifax, a weekly newsletter, told The Trenton Times. "It helps energize the Republicans in South Jersey, it gets Bush media coverage throughout the state, it gets him free air time in Pennsylvania, which is a true battleground state, and it puts the New Jersey Democrats on edge."
Did you honestly think the POTUS, First Lady, VPOTUS and the President's sister would all campaign there if it wasn't in play? :-)
What does this mean? There are many polls showing NJ in play, and even if you don't believe them then just look at the above individuals whose actions say the state is in play.
Someone on the thread seems to think it isn't...:-)
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm .. could this be why Clinton is going to Philly next week ???
Yep....
Kerry will have bring out his big guns the "Jersey Girls." to go to bat for him. They make me sick. I have never felt so completely unsympathetic for a "victim" in my entire life.
I think your theory is plausible. The real question is not whether Bush actually takes NJ; it is the fact that NJ is close. If NJ is close, OH, FL are probably heading into the Bush column, with WI and IA leaning heavily toward Bush. Heck, there is one poll out there that shows MN in play.
