He's saying - "If you contest this, you will take the rest of the Democrat party with you." The rest of the democratic party? What's left?
They lost the house, the senate, the US presidency, the majority of governers, all by an ever-widening margin, and now we'll get to appoint several more supreme court justices over the next four years ensuring a majority there that could last 30 to 40 years. They have nothing left to lose, they'll fight to the last inch.

As a Republican, I want him to hang on.
Don't get it, why do you want him to hang on?

He will concede. That would be great. I don't think America wants Florida all over again! Enough already?
Will he claim Ohio is too stupid to vote, too?
To: Wonderama
that'd be the honorable thing for a man of integrity to do.
that'd also be against DNC marching orders to keep the "divided america" thing going for the NEXT cycle.
care to place bets which way flipper flops?

That was a mistake. Had he refused to concede Kennedy would have lived, and Vietnam would have turned out a lot different. The good guys should never concede...

Yeah, and though Ohio is where the dems will contest, consider this: Right up until Ohio was called and the President won it, every single state had been won by 2% or more, and most of them by wide margins. Kerry's only hope for a win is to get Ohio back, the only other place he might be able to challenge is Iowa, and there just aren't enough EVs there. Heck, if Wisconsin goes over to Bush, he would need to get it (or Iowa) back before Ohio would matter!
Even the lawsuits are over. This one's secure.

We hope Kerry enjoys his long, restful vacation in France.

Someone is playing with the final vote counts and this isn't good for the nation - in my opinion -
N. Mexico should be called - I'm wondering what is going on there - Just heard Iowa has stopped counting because of machine problems and they are tired - That leaves Ne. still up to be called -
What a nation -

Mort Kondracke just said that the ownder of the Red Sox is sending in planes full of lawyers to see what they can dig up in Ohio.

"As a Republican, I want him to hang on.
As an American, I want him to concede.
As a media critic, I want to note that CBS, CNN, ABC STILL have not given Ohio to Bush. They want this more than he did."
Yea, and how UNAMERICAN IS THAT!?
