I like these kinds of articles; so sweet after all the bitterness we've endured from the left for decades.

The Democrats may adapt or perish.

So far, however, they don't seem very interested in adapting, just denouncing those who disagree with them as "idiots".

Here's hoping they maintain that attitude through the 2008 elections.

A few of my fave elections facts are:

1) President Bush won something like 2600 counties to Heinz-Kerry's 700.

2) President Bush got more votes in Massachusetts in 2004 than he did in 2000.

3) President Bush got more votes in 45 states in 2004 than he did in 2000.

And the REALLY sweet thing is that the left simply cannot believe that people would examine their ideaology and reject it!

America chose to listen to millions of voices instead of the aphabet soup of the networks. America is now the land of the open debate thanks to people like Jim Robinson. Where would we be without FreeRepublic and DU? Yes I include DU. It is right to be wrong.

Leftists have a right to "see red" (i.e. be angry). They were lied to by their best friends, the MSM. They were misled by phony polls showing Kerry ahead of Bush. They were told by Dan and Petah and Tom how corrupt Bush was and what a saint Kerry was. Michael Moore told them that Bush was a liar and even created a movie to prove it. Al Franken and Janeane Garafolo told them that the Dems were going to send Bush home and make the adage "like father, like son", true once again.

On Nov. 2, they found out just how badly they had been lied to. All the time they were being told that Bush was the liar, it was the leftists like the MSM, Moore, Barbra, Ben, "the Boss", the Chicks, Air America, Soros, Ickes, Carville and the Clintonista re-treads who signed on to the Kerry team that lied.

But, will they ever recognize the truth? Are you kidding? These people live in a world that is populated with Smurfs, Munchkins, purple dinosaurs and yellow submarines. Their idea of reality is "Survivor", "Big Brother", Wheel of Fortune and Oprah.

Perhaps if the blue states follow through and secede, Bush will finally be motivated to enforce the borders and crackdown on "illigal immigrants", sneaking back in from the third world nation that were formerly the blue states. FWIW, I think they should have to live in their socialist paradise. I'll take the Republic of the USA as defined by the Founding Fathers, thank you very much, for better or worse. It's the kind of country I want to live in and it's the kind of country most of the rest of the world wants to live in.
