FRENCH SOLIDERS OPEN FIRE ON INNOCENT CIVILAINS ON THE IVORY COAST (WARNING VERY GRAPHIC VIDEO)
Thanks for the comments. No, it doesn't look good does it. I'd like to think that enlightened states, the western modernized ones would be incapable of committing attrocities, but this look as if one has. So much for the French's hoity toity attitudes regarding the U.S., if they can't explain what happened here to most people's satisfaction.
I simply can't believe that the French decided to suddenly open fire on what looks to be a non-violent protest. Something must have triggered it. But, even if that's true, the response was criminal. And apparently, the French are getting a free pass on it.
Trust me, I'm not realy having fun watchin this, couls someone please recap wat the consensus here about what exactly is going on?
Haven't seen it.......look to Wardaddy for honest review.
It's not very clear at all what happened in the first video.
But it's very clear that the French soldiers at the end are not concerned about armed people in the crowd. They're all sitting in the open.
Not exactly what you'd expect if the crowd had opened fire on them, is it?
The French and some Indig troops fired on some protestors at the UN office in Abidjan Ivory Coast with small arms fire from armour and I believe also used some staionary larger caliber or cannon fire as well given some of the wounds I saw.
What provoked them is unknown to me but like another poster mentioned...at the end of the tape when they are leaving, they sure don't look too harried over incoming fire from hostiles in that vicinity.
The victims ranged from rather young looking to middle aged and mostly women.
Had this been done by US troops it would be deemed an atrocity promptly.....and it does look like that from this perspective but I am open to explanations.
Sixty one dead.
My guess is someone got itchy in the French column.
Other sources have put the dead at 60 or more.
it is strange that the troops sure don't look too scared when they are leaving do they?
i wasn't there but it looks bad and they are getting a pass....unfortunately.
Damn, you're not kidding. And our media and the left have their panties tied in knots over a US Marine defending himself by wasting a terrorist.....
The other videos and jpgs on the site are of a french sniper. I wonder if the sniper opened fire from the tall building in the background and then all hell broke loose.....
See my post #590, then go look at the sniper mpgs. Can't understand french though, but it appears the sniper was up in that tall building in the background? Maybe?
We have 2 seeds at http://65.13.147.18:6969/ for anyone interested in seeing the video and has bit torrent installed on their comp.

"Very graphic" is an understatement.
I bailed after the "exploded head" part.
So much for the vaunted French "pacifism".
A protester holds a placard denouncing French President Jacques Chirac in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004. Ivory Coast's president put a brave face on a new U.N. arms embargo targeting his government, but also warned that his turbulent nation will need to rebuild its military in the long term. WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC !!!
In Somolia I watched as multinational forces walked the streets, the kids and populace would walk up and grab the american troops and try to take things from their pockets etc etc....mobbed per se.....
When one or two lone Foreign Legion troops walked the same path we were overwatching it was like Moses parting the sea. Women, kids and farm animals ran or gave the Legionares a wide path .....
French policy of no violence is for others vs the french evidently....then and now.
Phucm !
Save for later.
