Plea from help from Ukraine
Email | 11/23/2004 | Stefan Tanisijczuk

Posted on 11/23/2004 7:08:41 AM PST by Leo Carpathian

Here is an email I received from one of my relatives in Ukraine. Please read.

"After the numerous infringements and violations committed by the Ukrainian state authority during yesterday's presidential election, the revolution in Ukraine is ready to begin. Please help us, the Ukrainians, to guarantee the democracy in our country and the liberated election. Don't sell us to the bandits! President Bush helped Iraq to get rid of the dictatorship. Lend us a hand to prevent it! Stop the new USSR! 50 millions need your help now!

The publicizing of this information and cry for help may save the lives of many innocent patriotic citizens. We believe that the United States of America is the most democratic and authoritative country. We also believe it is ready to help Ukraine keep its independence and stop the autocracy. Please help us save our fatherland! "

Stefan Tanasijczuk

and here is the info about activities in USA:

Dorohi (Dear)! We have SOLID, approved information to pass along.

Be as orange as you can be, stay as long as you can.

Several people are leaving either after the protest in nyc in the evening, or early am. for DC, .. like 630 on wednesday morning, leaving any later will be pointless as traffic will be murder. Most of us will then most likely return either on wed night or Thursday morning. If you can give a ride, please volunteer. (contact me at znymka@hotmail.com). There may be buses chartered to go down… that is still in the planning phase.

Make posters, orange is the color, wear it, wave it, post it...

I'm surprised what's happening in Kiev isn't getting more press.

Ok, here goes; I have been teaching here for 3 months, the Ukraine held an election on Sunday and the opposition candidate Victor Youschenko won according to the exit polls and other information but there was wide spread fraud and the government who supported the other candidate, said that he won. The masses of people here do not believe it for a minute (Youachenko beat Yanakovic here in the Chernivtsi region 75% to 25%! and this happened in many regions all over the Ukraine)

As I write this at 4:30 pm on Tuesday night the Narada (like our senate) is meeting in Kiev to decide if the election results were fraudulent (this meeting ended because the opposition candidates people who support Yanakovich refused to show up, there were not enough members there to hold a vote so nothing happened, NOT a good sign. Even so it would have been symbolic anyway seeing as the president (who supports the other candidate Yanakovich, a convicted felon who has been imprisoned twice has the final say as to the election being fraudulent).

There are at least 400,000 people protesting in Kiev today and it is being broadcast live on channel 5, the opposition channel.

Surprisingly, channel 5 has been inundated with "technical problems" in the way of someone trying to jam their signal but even when the picture is fuzzy, you can still see everything that is happening (frankly, I am surprised the government has not pulled the plug on the channel). The demonstrations have been peaceful, and they are having an effect upon many cities. The secret police in Kiev said that the people had the right to public demonstrations as long as they were peaceful and they have been. Word has it that Kuchma the president is out of the country (I have been told he has gone to Russia of all places. This comes as no surprise given the fact that President Putin called to "congratulate" Yanakovich on his fraudulent presidential win.

Today, almost EVERY major and minor city throughout the Ukraine has massive demonstrations going on. Right now in Downtown Chernivtsi where I am there are at least 10,000 to 20,000 people voicing their support for Victor Youschenko (someone reported a number of up to 40,000 people in Chernivtsi but that seems too high (but I could be wrong).

ALL of the universities are closed and people of all ages are out in the street calling for the election results to be overturned. Please continue to keep the Ukraine in prayer, the very future of the democracy here is at stake and by the grace of God, I am here witnessing history in the making.

bla bla bla... great mail from "family" smells fake.
No one demonstrating for yushenko in the south or east? You know all those big cities, Nikolaevka, Odessa, Yalta, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Lugansk, Simferopol etc.... they do exist right.

I hope you storm the central election commite split Ukraine in two and be left in poverty of the western half. Only western votes should count but the east and south shouldn't right. The 94% in Lvow isn't fake but in Donetsk it is right? (sarcasm)

Wow, I had no idea of all the events in Ukraine. We've been so focused on our own election and Iraq that I've seen practically nothing in the news about Ukraine at all. Keep us posted who are cubicle bound and fed a daily diet of mainstream media.

"I hope you storm the central election commite split Ukraine in two and be left in poverty of the western half."

I had heard that it was divided East vs. west with ethnic Russians in East wanting to join Russia and Ukrainians in the West wanting to be independent.

Strange that after all the misery visited upon Ukraine by Russia in the past, Russians still feel the need to oppress ethnic Ukrainians.

You should take a long look at yourself in the mirror and decide if this is how you want to be eluminate, because from here, you appear very ugly indeed.

Just a guess but I would say Victor Youschenko. He is the independence candidate. Incidentally, Soros is Hungarian and Hungary borders western Ukraine.

That's funny, I called last night to some Ukrainian friends in Kharkov and their view was quite the opposite. Seems the opposition is in bed with Soros, a major funder. They have made deals with the western Catholic nationalists that will disenfranchise the Orthodox 2/3rds and they have made deals with the Communists to end all reforms and this is the West's favorite candidate? Oh and did I mention that all their Jewish friends voted for the government after the opposition defended the nationalist's anti-Semetic moves? Nice guys.

The exit polls were conducted only in Kiev and western Ukraine, the majority of the population lives in eastern and southern Ukraine and is pro government. Guess if we follow the same exit polls, Kerry won the South.

Wish I could make it.
The tragedy is many in Ukraine, especially in the Eastern half, are ready to jump back into bed with Russia. If they voluntarily return to serfdom, not much can be said about it.

And what are the demonstrations in Dnepitrovsk? In Lugansk? In Kharkov or the Crimea? All are anti-opposition, as is most of the military.

The opposition was claiming victory before elections were even complete and flatly stated they would not accept any numbers since they already knew they won. Typical of someone bought by Soros, just like Kerry.

Soros is Arriving at Ukraine. Export of Revolutions

// Tatiana Ivanenko // Partaktiv // 24.03.04 // http://partaktiv.info/main/40616795d3daa/

In the article, the author states that G. Soros, in order to carry out successful machinations with national currencies, actively affects the policy of the country by trying to establish necessary-for-him regime in certain countries. The author describes “political machinations” of G. Soros in Yugoslavia (overthrow of S. Miloshevich), Georgia (overthrow of Ye. Shevarnadze). The author states that activities of Soros-related foundations leads to political instability in countries. The author believes that the future visit of Soros to Ukraine is related to the fact that “G. Soros is trying to use revolution-based technologies in Ukraine.”

George Soros Made a Decision to Closely Deal with Ukraine

// Denis Olzhych // Izvestiya -Ukraine // 25.03.04

The main leitmotif of this article is set forth in its very beginning: Ukrainian opposition is often visited by foreign guests (H. Severinsen, M. Albright and finally by G. Soros) which image is morally stained. Therefore, the article is directed at discrediting G. Soros just before his visit to Ukraine. The author points out that billions of Soros were gained by dishonest way that is evidenced by the penalty charged over him by French court for machinations with shares of Societe Generale, Swiss bank. Main scheme of Soros: “destabilization with selfish intents" The author highlights machinations by Soros in the finance market and at political arena.

Finances:

Main strategy – informational attach which will lead to a market panic.

In 1997 — 98, Soros caused the Asian economic crisis. Such crisis affected Ukraine too. The author says that Ukrainians, who lost their money then as a result of rapid inflation, must be “thankful” to Soros for such a result. In1997, Soros caused the crisis in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines. Then, the Indonesian President publicly called Soros as a “bandit".

Politics:

At first, Soros focused its activities on exporting “scientific brains” from post-Soviet countries to the USA through the system of “international exchanges” and grants. Due to Soros activities, the USA has acquired scientists who possessed secret and extra-secret technologies: biochemists, physicists, software developers, specialists from aviation and space industries.

The method of capture by Soros of countries is too simple: “to buy up” educated and perspective oppositionists and then assist them in coming to power. In doing so, Soros has captured Serbia and then Georgia. In these countries, he financed illegal military units: "Otpor" (Serbia), "Kmara" (Georgia), as well as UNA-UNSO in Ukraine just before civil disturbances occurred on March 9, 2001.

The author says that results of the Soros activities ares as follows: genocide of Serbs, American protectorate in Kosovo, repressions and threat of new civil war in Georgia. Soros acts under authorization of American authorities, and the criticizing of his activities by Bush administration is an “umbrella” and not more. After all, the State Department and CIA authorize Soros to make the dirtiest operations. The author makes a conclusion that Ukraine will be a new victim of Soros. He has already allocated (through his IRF) 350,000 US dollars in order to create the media holding that must conduct pre-electoral propaganda. Soros tried to interfere with Ukraine’s affairs before, when in 2001 he called L. Kuchma to assign his powers to V. Yuschenko and allocated in total 100,000,000 US dollars “for supporting Ukrainian state” and developing “open society”. At the end of the article, the author calls the Ukrainian authorities to restrict the freedom of moving of Soros, who is considered a foreign agent affecting the state affairs, within Ukrainian territory.

Soros is arriving at Ukraine. Part 2. Export of revolutions

// Tatiana Ivanenko // Partaktiv // 24.03.04 // http://partaktiv.info/main/40616795d3daa/
