The true story is that of Terri's parents and siblings. They see Terri and after all this time, can assess whether she's doing well or not so well. I was shocked that Judge Baird wrote in an order that Terri's parents had not proven they had an interest in Terri's Law. Apparently, Judge Baird knows nothing about the bond between parent and child or about faith. Judge Baird and Judge Greer are bottom dwellers. How did they become above the law? How did they become THE LAW?
It's appalling.
Feeding tubes started during or after the Civil War. Terri is "not hooked up to machines" which means that she can be mobile, i.e. go outside but she is held in one room like she's in a prison cell. I've heard that Hospice is closing the blinds in her room citing concerns that she will be filmed. IMO, the are closing Terri's blinds to cause even more sensory deprivation... FV
I think Jeb heard you last year. We had to use the GOP card to help Terri, even in 2004 re: the presidential election. This is about prayer and politics, strange bedfellows in the past but now, a MUST.
Just e-mailed http://www.theempirejournal.com/documents_of_schiavo_judges_give.htm to Drudge and requested he look into it. Don't have a lot of hope, but recommend everyone do the same. A little national coverage would sure help right now, and this is probably a slow time for Drudge.

I think that's a good idea! We need to keep e-mailing these articles to various media people. Keep it on their radar. Someone will eventually pick this up and get the ball rolling. Kudos to Scoop 1 for pounding the pavement on this important story!

Drudge so far isn't into any Terri news. The closest we can get is Ann Coulter who has her own web site and so does Laura Ingraham. They are both on Terri's side and Laura Ingraham is a big fan of Governor Bush.
Several years ago the Ginsburg Court refused to hear a similar plea from the forces supporting Terri. Incredibly though this Souter Court affirms a national "right to abortion," it says that euthanasia is a matter for "the states." On this old Anthony Kennedy Court, it's ultimately whatever Sandra Day O'Connor says, but preferably if it is in line with John Paul Stevens' Chicago school of liberalism or Stephen Breyer's Boston style of socialism.
