Thank you for your service, and God bless. Any other reports from on-the-scene?

Lord, but I'm proud of our troops. Womens suffrage in an Islamic former terror nation, be it Iraq or Afghanistan, seems to be ignored by the "perpetually indignant" of the U.S. womens movement. However, only time will tell if this is the death rattle of terrorism, or just the introduction of the germ that kills it. I suspect that lots more surgery will be necessary. But it is a hopeful start.

This is a victory for Iraqis, and it wouldn't be taking place if GW weren't President. The democrats couldn't care less about Iraq. It's GW's part in helping to bring freedom to this wretched part of the world that's driving them nuts.

Oh of course, there will be more trouble... A death rattle only means that no matter how long you hold on- the impending end is near and there is not a thing that can be done to reverse it.

Haven't heard any complaints coming out of Iraq about disfranchisement, no disgruntled voters. Think about it, first time these people go to vote, under dangerous conditions, hundreds of candidates to choose from, most of them uneducated, and no problems with the ballots. NO HANGING CHADS? Where's Al Bore when you need him.

The worst thing for Democrats is Ted Kennedy's speech. That speech put the DIMs in a position where success for the country is a failure for them.
This apparent successful election is now a political defeat for Democrats. That speech was our late Christmas present.
Now, the republican message machine needs to really turn up the heat on the DIMs!

"This is great! Watching John Kerry on Meet the Depressed will be fun to watch "
Per Drudge, JK's statement on this world-historic day soars with an eloquence unrivaled by even the orators of Republican Rome: "We should not overhype the election." (/sarcasm) What a petty, bitter man.

Notice that they won't report the percentage of REGISTERED voters turning out, only eligible voters! If they went with those eligible AND registered, the numbers would be even higher.
(Or did Iraq not have registration for this one?)

Where a battleground can be transformed into a polling place, great progress has been made.
To: filly
ABCNNBCBS and the NY Slimes will try to portray this great turnout as a failure.

"People drove from Seattle to Anaheim JUST TO VOTE here! "
"Americans could learn something from the Iraqi expatriates!!!"
Didn't they have to make these drive to vote, two times?
1. To Register to vote.
2. To vote.

CNN just had a story that said 90% of Iraqi expats did not vote.
Anything to spin the success in Iraq.
