Are you as fed up as I am over the bad decisions being handed down by the SCOTUS and throughout the judiciary? Are you tired of judicial activism? Are you tired of being ruled by the men in black robes? Is it time to remind the SCOTUS that We The People ARE the final arbiters of law and justice in this land?
Are you fed up with the weak-kneed Republican Senate? Are you ready to drop the nuclear option on the obstructionist Democrats? Are you fed up with Specter and the RINOs?
Is it time for us to rise up and march on Washington again? How many of you are willing to join me in another march to D.C. to straighten out these yahoos and remind them of who's in charge in this republic?
If they can do it in Lebanon, we can do it here!!
I disagree, simply because Marshall, as Chief Justice of SCOTUS, made the principle LAW after the Constitiution was adopted.
I would be willing to bet many a senator's office has been inundated with phone calls supporting a "Nuclear" option. We may even see one of the RINOs change to yes on the rule change because of the Soverignty issue...
Listen to Laura Ingraham tomorrow - She had a lot of well placed anger today about this, and made one feel that one was not alone...

Today, don't know if y'all heard, Rush Limbaugh told the detail of the crime that 17 year old committed that was used for this case.
It was so horrific that I could hardly listen I got so upset.
Then I hear this bit about Justice Kennedy citing adherence to "international standards" and well, I don't have to tell you the anger, and UTTER HELPLESSNESS I felt.
Also, I listened to The Great One, Levin, wrote a book "Men in Black" during an interview with Rush. His book is, indeed, a great one from what I heard.
But yet again.....it made me mad and feel helpless.
Please don't get me started on those Senate Republicans. THEY are totally helpless.
Or a hard working conservative with vacation time.
Give me a date and I'll see if I can wrangle the time off.

BTTT I live too far away, but I would say it's past time something like this was done! God speed.
And .. we need to remind all the repubs - the reason Bush is so popular is because he doesn't take any guff from the dems or anybody else.
Just watching the President walk right into the middle of a group of security people and pulling his guy out - and saying, "this issue is over". In other words, the argument about whether his security guy was coming into the room with him was a non-issue!
He took charge - he took control - he wasn't nasty - just honest - IT'S OVER!! He's a cowboy - and we love that about him.
Maybe we need to convey that to our senators and try to make them realize that if they don't DO SOMETHING they are going to lose our support!!
Depends on when you do it. I'm getting married in April, so bad timing if before the wedding, but then again my fiance and I talked about DC for the honeymoon? If I can't go, I'll see what I can do locally. Let me know more info.

I thought there was an open area between the Capitol and the Supreme Court, I don't know how restricted the access is.

I trust Bush. I haven't felt that way about many Presidents.

Me either. And if the repubs want the same trust - they will have to earn it.
SCOTUS' majority has, with their decision regarding juvenile murderers, shown that they will listen to public opinion - when that public opinion originates in a foreign land. It's time to remind them that the law of this land is of, by and for the people of this land, and not the people of the world community.
Will we be carrying images of pitchforks and hammerhandles??
However, I would love to see the theme of 'UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION" be expressed.
Maybe several posters displaying the constitution that could be mounted on something that all would hold from underneath??? Thus, "upholding" the Constitution. Then carrying in front of the Supreme Court Bldg.
