His brother murders their daughter and the Schindlers are supposed to apologize to him?

Murderers and their accomplices generally become enraged when their victims won't go quietly or someone attempts to frustrate their plans.

The Schiavos sound like the family from hell.

God forbid that anyone have to endure in-laws like the Schiavos. I wouldn't wish a husband like Michael Schiavo on my worst enemy.

And a brother of Michael Schiavo vowed Thursday night that he will never forgive her biological family for portraying his brother as a "murderer."

Oooooo.....

I bet the Schindlers will never forgive his brother for being a murderer.

Schiavo is trying to soften his image cuz some agent probably told him that there could be no movie deal with a character as unsympathetic as him.He will fail, his image is fixed in Americas mind. When Gibson makes his film about this I bet that Felos will be Satan.

Why was only one man, Judge Greer, the determinant of the facts in Terri's case?

In most other cases, it is a jury that determines the facts. Certainly the facts in all capital cases are determined by a jury.

Qualified individuals can make wise judgments. An individual can also make horrific judgments. Our society has determined that groups of individuals are more likely to be wise. That is why we have city councils, company boards of directors, and jury trials. Groups of people tend to be "less imperfect" than single individuals.

Setting aside personalities, as distasteful as they appear to be, having only one person determine the facts seems to be the central failing of the judicial system in Terri's case. For the future, that failing could be solved by legislative action.

The siblings I've seen all look like clones of a common street thug. Empty hulks with mustaches. I'm not surprised they are the way they are - Control freaks who will have it their way no matter the angst they inflict or the pettiness they perpetrate.

Brother dear, Michael did that all by himself. Didn't need Terri's family to help him out. And keeping them out of her room at the end sealed the deal for him. Now, what does the brother have to gain? Is he also on the hospice board?

"She was 41 and had been incapacitated since 1990, when she suffered a heart attack that caused permanent brain damage."
Thats B.S.
THIS WOMAN WAS MURDERED. And I hope that the autopsy at least proves 2 things:
1)She was not PVS
2)Injuries were not consistent with any kind of medical condition. But rather, injuries sustained from abuse along the timeframe of when she did collapse.

Terri family has been extraordinarily noble. For many others this whole thing would have been over 15 years ago. Terri would still be alive, Mike would have been long dead, and a family member would still be behind bars awaiting parole.

Meanwhile, the Schindler's forgave the Schiavo's.

Here we see a clear definition of the "goats" and the "sheep", the difference between grace and venom.

Have Nicole Simpson's family and Ron Goldman's family ever apologized to O.J.?

Brian Schiavo was in the room with his brother when Terri Schiavo died after 13 days without hydration and nutrition. He said his brother was heartbroken.

What a cesspool. The BROTHER of this murderer was at her bedside, but her own flesh and blood was KICKED OUT!?

Michael is only doing what Terri would have wanted.

She would not have wanted her brother and sister at her bedside at the moment of her death.

She would not have wanted her parents to attend her funeral service.

She would not have wanted to feel the sun on her face for the past five years.

She would not have wanted rehab to prevent muscular contractures in her appendages.

She would not have wanted her "husband" to have been constrained by the marriage contract while treating her like property.

She would not have wanted the 2 million in settlement money to be spent on as it was ordered, but spent as it was, almost all of the 1.4 million awarded for her rehab went in the pockets of lawyers in one fashion or another.

She would not have wanted to listen to music, be surrounded by pretty things or had the smell of flowers in her room these past 13 years.

And she certainly would not have wanted her "husband" to act the part of a man rather than a petulant little sh7t.

Felos is already talking about movie rights. I hope the Schindlers file a civil suit to at least prevent these minions of Satan from profiting from the slaughter of their daughter, Terri.

I asked a similar question on another thread, hoping that someone could enlighten me. Greer is a probate judge. As I understand it, he normally hears cases concerning the wills and estates of people who are already dead. Terri Schiavo was not dead and did not leave a will. Why was Greer involved in her case in the first place?.
