I didn't say mines. I said signs that say there are mines.

It's a subtle yet important difference.

The Apaches and Comanches were even more dangerous to families, but those states are American today because the "front line families" didn't run away to safety.

History repeats. If not, get ready to say "bienvenidos a Aztlan".

You would be better off just reading U.S. Army field manual FM5-15 Field Fortifications on how to build some proper fences to keep unwelcome party crashers out or at the very least give you enough warning to lock & load.

this sh*t really pisses me off. it aint about who, or what type of ethnicticty (sp?) is doing this f*c!ing crap, its about one of Americans's most basic right --- their land --- getting violated ... like somebody said, wait until the riff raff start violating these guy's daughters...

What needs to happen is a string of web cams to bypass the snooze media and reach middle america.... hell, I'd donate the server, bandwidth and programming necessary to pull it off if someone can organize the installation and raising funds for getting the cameras//////

Which cholla? There appear to be several different kinds... Devil cholla looks good but the chain-fruit cholla looks like it would spread out well.

I am very glad that I live in Virginia and not on the border. I do not have the temperament to be kind, gracious and PC. I would probably end up in prison.

Not if the dogs kill them first.

Who will eat first, the illegals or the dogs? If I remember my last trip (long ago) dog was often on the menu.

Just what I was thinking. The pitt bulls that are such a menace in the inner cities are needed here. I am really joking about pitt bulls but if I lived there I would have guard dogs to warn me of intruders.

We had some property in the Texas hill country with a little weekend cabin on it 30 years ago. We had break ins all the time. They ate all the food in the pantry, took our boots and knives and slept in our beds. It has to be worse now.

Nope, not very tough at all...

But I am as dangerous as a mama grizzly bear when it comes to defending my home, property, and family.

You and me too! If I was on that border and illegal aliens were breaking into my house, stealing my posessions or killing my dogs, they wouldn't be long for this world.

It could be MY family. Can we have a serious discourse on what needs to be done? What do we have to do to get the message to Washington that these are Americans who must be protected?
In Article 1, Section 9, Clause 15 of the United States Constitution it states: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions.
Why can't we hold Congress accountable for not supressing this invasion? They swear an allegaiance to "support and uphold" the Constitution when they are sworn into office. Is this failure to act not a violation of the oath?

This is a letter is submitted to my Congressman this morning. You can find your Congressman at www.house.gov and putting in your zip code.

Congressman Moran,

Every member of the Senate took an oath to "support and defend" the Constitution. In Article 1, Section 8, Clause 15 it states: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions. What is it going to take to get Congress to realize that their failure to act regarding the invasion of the border states (and Alexandria and Annandale, etc.) by illegal aliens is a violation of this oath?

When I joined the Army in 1974, I too took an oath to defend this country "against all enemies, foreign and domestic." I took that oath seriously and still do. Although I am not still in the military, I feel that the resources of our military should be deployed to protect our borders. All pre-Iraq deployment training exercises should be conducted along the US/Mexico border. After all, if we can't secure our own border, how are we supposed to secure the border between Iraq and Syria?

Something needs to be done and I respectfully request that you take a long, hard look at this situation.
