Ford Motor Co. Supports the Homosexual Marriage Movement
AFA News ^

Posted on 05/30/2005 9:06:28 PM PDT by Cedar

If one looks for the company which has done the most to affirm and promote the homosexual lifestyle, he would be hard-pressed to find a company which has done more than Ford Motor Company. While this is hardly known to the general population, it is well known by numerous homosexual organizations. In fact, the Human Rights Campaign (a national homosexual organization whose goal is homosexual marriage) gave Ford a 100% corporate rating. Ford makes not only Ford, but also Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, and Land Rover.

From redefining family to include homosexual marriage, to giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to support homosexual groups and their agenda, to forcing managers to attend diversity training on how to promote the acceptance of homosexuality, to sponsoring a “commitment (marriage) ceremony”, to sponsoring Gay Pride Parades, Ford leads the way.

The goal of every homosexual organization supported by Ford is to get homosexual marriage legalized. The information below provides just a glimpse of how broad Ford’s support for the homosexual movement is.

Ford believes the effort to legalize homosexual marriage by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is so important that the company is giving GLAAD up to $1,000 for every Jaguar or Land Rover (both Ford products) purchased this year. Click on the link and go to the bottom of the ad and you can read about Ford's support for GLAAD. GLAAD is one of the nation's largest homosexual groups promoting homosexual marriage. Ford's donations will help GLAAD in their efforts. (Go to the link posted with this thread--"AFA News".)

Ford's donations are not confined only to GLAAD. For years, Volvo has donated $500 to the Human Rights Campaign when a vehicle is purchased or leased. The fine copy at the bottom of the ad tells the reader about Volvo's donations to the Human Rights Campaign. Read More.... (at link posted with thread)

Ford defines "family" to include homosexual and lesbian couples. In the 2005 Gay Pride Day in Ferndale, Michigan, Ford sponsored the "family area". On the website, the heading reads "The Family Area is Generously Sponsored by Ford." The Ford logo and name are included on the page. The Ford Motor Company Fund is funded by Ford Motor Company. Read More (at link posted with thread)

Ford is promoting a new definition of family as being "people with modern values." Thomas Anderson, executive vice-president of Volvo Cars North America (a division of Ford Motor Company), said of their effort to target homosexuals and lesbians: "For us, it was very natural to address gay families. We're targeting people with modern day values. It's a value set and the Volvo-minded consumer is very diverse. 'Family' is much more than the traditional family." Ford gave more than $5000 to help sponsor the 2004 Motor City Pride Weekend. They will again help sponsor the event. This year it will include—among other things—a homosexual “commitment (marriage) ceremony”. When you click on this link, you can then click on “Commitment Ceremony” on the green bar to see the planned “homosexual Marriage”. Read More (at link posted with thread)

Ford supports homosexual publications with ads, including sexually oriented ads. (go to link posted with thread)

Ford's support for the homosexual movement isn't limited to the U.S., but is international. Click Here to see scenes from the 2004 London Pride Parade sponsored by Ford. Click Here to see that Ford will be a sponsor for the 2005 London Pride Parade. Click here to see ads that ran in German newspapers and magazines. More Here (at link posted with thread)

Ford was the main sponsor of the London Mardi Gras event. Follow the link below to see some of the activity which Ford helped sponsor. Warning: Many will find these photos offensive. We include them only to show the type of activity Ford feels deserves their official sponsorship. Read More (at posted link)

Ford Motor executive praises the company’s support for the homosexual community. Ian McAllister, CBE, chairman and managing director, Ford Motor Company Limited, had this to say about Ford’s support for the homosexual community. “Ford has been supporting gay, lesbian and transgender events and charities for many years, and this year, Ford will be a main sponsor of the London Mardi Gras. We believe at Ford in helping a global society that is more open and tolerant, and one that values diversity. Our presence at the Mardi Gras underlines that philosophy.” Read More (at posted link)

Ford donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to homosexual groups to push the homosexual agenda. While it is nearly impossible to find the most recent gifts to homosexual groups, Corporate Patterns reports that at least since 1999 the company has been donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to homosexual groups. In 1999, Ford gave $200,000 to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and $100,000 to the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Campaign.

Ford refused to give information on how much money they have given to homosexual groups in the past two years.

Unlike many corporations which give most of their donations to local groups to support projects in their local communities, Ford gives an inordinate amount to national liberal social causes. Read More (at posted link)

GMC panders to them just like Ford

See post #36 - the "DaimlerChrysler Fund" is involved in this, too.

Maybe the Chinese auto industry will chip in, too - after they get a firm foothold here. (rotsa ruck with that, homos...)

If they concentrate on making good vehicles like they should instead of giving in to the fruits

I can't say how many times the mantra, "diversity is good for business", was used in my business. But diversity does not make a car design better, or a production line work faster. But donations to causes make the causes happy, and the opponents of those causes unhappy. I wonder what the Ford Motor Company is with respect to charting Boy Scout Troops?

The first year for the Mustang was '65.

IIRC the first Mustang came out in early '64. I remember that because a girl I worked with bought one of the 1st ones in our town. It could have been titled as a '65 model I suppose, but it was introduced much earlier than usual for that era.

This from HRC -- the same source that AFA is using for info on Ford. GM does gay advertising, gives to gay causes, offers domestic partner benefits, sponsors a gay employee group, and has mandatory diversity training. I think you'll have to look overseas if you really want to buy your next car from a manufacturer that isn't gay-friendly...

"...the first Mustang came out in early '64."

LOL - you are right.  I think that a prototype was created for 1963, but the first production year was '64 1/2 (spring of 1964),  however it was stamped as a '65.

On the Ford website (heritage section), is the statement:

" For purposes of clarity, it is useful to note that Ford never referred to Mustangs as '64' or '64 1/2' models. These designations are the work of collectors who seek to differentiate an early '65 from a late '65.  That said, Ford made midstream changes throughout the model year.

Here's a link to the flash presentation containing that statement:

http://www.fordheritage.com/mustang/media/1960shock.html

It is confusing, but everyone I've talked to, except real car buffs and collectors, call them '65s, which is why I referred to it as a '65.   Hope that helps.

RT

Good point. Toby doesn't seem like the kind of guy to support homosexual causes.

Maybe someone needs to phone him.......

"Actually, '64 1/2."

You're right, that's when the production year for that model Mustang started.  However, they were designated as '65s.  See my post # 89 for links to Ford's Heritage website & their official statement to that effect.

BTW, I had a '67 Candy Apple Red Mustang - my 1st brand new car.  Wish I still had it now, LOL.

"Looking down, shuffling feet, muttering about you being right and me being wrong..."

LOL - great imagery.

My first brand new car was a '67 candy apple red Mustang - mmmm, what memories, heheh.

BTW, there are some companies that build replicas (&/or rebuild) the classics. One of my nephews has a '70 BOSS Mustang - Cobalt Blue - man, is she pretty. He really takes good care of it - won't even drive it in the rain (he sneaks his dad's 2005 T-Bird, heheh). He carries a soft cover in the trunk, so he can always protect it in inclement weather. His dad, (my brother), taught that boy right.

Would be interesting to see a statement from Toby saying he was giving back any money he made from doing Ford Promos. Alan Jackson too. I doubt we will ever see it. Most entertainment types are only interested in what they can make while they are popular.

Also, Ford spends a ton in NASCAR, wonder how many Ford loyalist will start backing Jeff Gordon, and sell all their Ford diecasts, and posters, and .....

If thousands (millions?) of American citizens would respond like you suggested, things would get better.

It's probably too late to influence FORD and GM. But at least other corporations could be persuaded to NOT include these policies.

Wish we would see it all happen.....seems like Toby is man enough to do it---or is that just an "image"?

And what about the NASCAR fans? Surely if they only knew about FORD.......or maybe NASCAR fans just have only an "image" of patriotism too.

Image: how true. Tim McGraw pays someone like $30,000 a year just to make sure is hat is ready when he is in public. Non of these people dress or act like they portray themselves onstage.

Nascar: their image of being patriotic is bus crashes and stunts before a race, jets flying overhead, and National Anthem. After that it is WWF with cars, and they will blindly support any sponsor that is on their favorite car.

"Perhaps Ford can commemorate their political interests and backing with a new model. Perhaps it will not have a gas cap/opening, or no outlet for the exhaust, or some other ridiculous shortcoming and oxymoronic design flaw."

How about the exhaust intakes rather than outputs and is prone to getting rear-ended?

Actually Fords are great cars. All of mine have been excellent, reliable high quality vehicles.

But after hearing this crap I am tempted to write them and tell them they've lost my business.
