"But I don't think it's normal, or "ok" to pronouce guilty verdicts without evidence..."

There was no evidence?

Juror says he can't think of anything specific that stands out in his mind that made him decide not guilty

Here's the deal. Every prosecution of a celebrity is a difficult and expensive prosecution, especially in California. Let the good citizens of California draft and pass a proposition that grants immunity from criminal prosecution to all celebrities. They are our royalty, and they obviously deserve to be treated as such, right?

That would put the Meseareus out of business and save tons of taxpayer money. And your tender soul wouldn't be vexed by "incompetent" and "heavy-handed" prosecutions in the case of celebrities.

If that proves workable, let them pass a proposition banning all prosecutions, regardless of celebrity or lack thereof.

What do you think? Tempted?

No, I'm correcting the joke because I think it reflects the truth. I also did not write the joke. But I believe it accurately portrays Jackson's real mind.

Bunch of dummies who can't even come up with ONE reason why they found the pedophile innocent. Just ONE damned reason.

The questions are sortof stammering and unthoughtful.

I think both sides are having a hard time figuring out how to get the conversation started. It's too big a question.

He did mention "it's beyond a reasonable doubt". That indicates to me that that is where it was at.

I agree with you on the Anderson trial, etc. Your concern re the Federal government is well placed. For that reason, I still go with the jury on this one. Just because I believe jackson IS guilty of child abuse in the psychological sense ( even if all he did was "sleep" with the boys) he has not been proven guilty of child abuse according to our laws and was acquitted by our juries.

You shouldn't be able to indict a man, much less convict him, with the testimony on proven perjurers.

So, if he ONLY molests kids whose parents are the scum of the earth, he can just keep on doing it?

No. This family has shown blatant, RECENT, ADMITTED perjury. More than one person, and in unison.

Now let me ask you, what would you think if you were the accused by such persons?

They seem more concerned about the media than they are with the verdict they handed down. Celebrity rules in their world, obviously.

Exactly!

That's the problem, the verdict was read in Spanish and they actually meant guilty.
