NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN

**Exclusive**

The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.

The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts’ two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.

Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.

Both children were adopted from Latin America.

A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."

Roberts’ young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his father’s Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldn’t stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.

Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josie’s and Jack’s mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.

One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES’ plans declared: “Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts’ family like this is despicable. Children’s lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.”

One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. “This can’t possibly be true?”

What was it that Novak said on CNN tonight? Regarding the NYTimes response -- I say "bull kaka". There were/are going after the kids.....just like they tried to go after the wife. They are low-lifes, paid for by the DNC, I'm sure. Pigs.

I called earlier and left a message on their "reader line"...

Chances that it'll be listened to approach the probability that Michael Moore will create a new movie entitled "Titanic 2004: The Well-Deserved Sinking of Socialist Democrats in US Politics."

I was watching Brit tonight and during the panel segment, Brit was livid at the NYT. He said that his sources told him that lawyers for the NYT were asking HOW TO BREAK THE SEAL ON THE RECORDS. Brit was so mad. Brit and Bill Sammon were both on the same page, but Ceci and "the 'splainer man" seemed to think it was okay for the lawyers to ask questions.

Exactly, they looked into the adoption records in hopes of finding something on Roberts - a fishing expedition.

According to Britt Hume tonight on Fox, he spoke personally to an attorney the Times tried to hire to have the records unsealed. That's a bit more than looking into them, IMO.

It is hard to believe that this paper is the leading voice for the Democratic Party.

I beg to differ. Everyone knows that when you lie down with dogs you wake up with fleas. It doesn't surprise me at all that such a liberal rag would stoop to such depths.

This kind of "story" angle is utterly disgusting.

They're trying to find out 1) how they adopted 2 white children and 2) how they adopted 2 white children from Latin America.

I guess they've never been to or seen anyone from Brazil?

Between the late 1800s and mid 1900s many Germans emigrated to Brazil. Some of Mr. HR's ancestors considered doing so, but they came to Texas instead. They were blond and blue-eyed.

but I do think I'll fill out a form and report her to Mr. Blackwell for immediate re-programing.

LOL I wonder what he would have to say. You know if he would approve of her look; he's a flaming liberal!

I keep hearing persistent rumors that he removed the labels off a couple of mattresses in 1955...

But he was just a kid... you'd think they wouldn't hold a youthful indiscretion like that against him... ;-)

I can see why a to tight bustier and skirt all made out of thin white material would give this impression. The smile is sadistic.I would be afraid to turn my back on her.

Some pro-abortion people simply don't like the idea of adoption. My three kids are adopted. Most people are very loving and supportive of them. However, occasionally (three times) I came across someone who actually voices anger or hostility against the idea of adoption, sometimes in right front of the kids. One woman decided to take it upon herself to tell me that my children were probably children of prostitutes. Upon hearing my kids were adopted, another woman asked if abortion was not available in their country of origin. Luckily, my kids were very young and didn't know what these women were talking about. Another house guest of mine stated that adoption had no advantage over abortion, after spending an otherwise delightful day with our children. He seemed shocked that I took offense.

You should have checked your house guests back for a zipper. He sounds like lizard impersonating a human.Unfortunately, I know several people who have sold their souls to planned parenting. They treat anyone ,with more than two children , harshly.

I'm sure it's on this thread somewhere already, but the NYT needs to hear from lots of folks.
